2019 Pros Switching Sponsors Official Thread

Great question, especially considering his old classic Innova bag.

With that said, I'm guessing Lat still supports that tour, so probably still Lat?

I'd imagine he'd keep a lot of Lat stuff being comfortable with it...but I could see him putting some Innova classics back in...maybe his 10x Aviars and some old Rocs...because Judges and Maces ain't not Aviar or Roc.

I'd hope he's able to get some other companies in on the tour, especially Prodigy/Innova with him being based in GA now.

Aka Paul will have something after his playing days are over. What happens when one of these guys catches some nasty footing and breaks a foot or blows out a shoulder?

If you're relying on the tour to get by that's great...but if you can't play you can't make them cash moneys.

Paul is paving the way for everybody else, so to compare him to anybody else is unfair really. But Ricky will always be Pippen regardless of what he does.

Their two totally different people.

Paul is becoming a marketing guru, a salesman if you will.

I like the fact that Ricky is taking things slow. He is an introvert and that's ok.

When the tour starts talk becomes real cheap.

Paul uli player his first round of Shelly sharpe over his raiting . . Good start for the new bag

I just looked at PDGA site...would love a video but can't find one

Nobody is there filming it. A few Discraft sponsored players at the top of that field after round 1, they should attempt to rush a crew there to get some footage.

If McBeth comes roaring out of the gates and Wysocki doesn't, does Innova keep the hype-train on Ricky or put more effort into Sexton? I'm bored and just stream of conciousing here, but if I was Sexton I'd be a little hurt that Innova bought full on into the Ricky vs. Paul dynamic as opposed to supporting an Innova loyalist. But maybe I'm just being obtuse.

I love watching and listening to Nate but you can't blame Innova in promoting the 2x champ vs the 4x time champ. Especially given their back and forth finishes during those years.

Barsby is the one who is getting the short stick here. I'll be buying a few tour series discs off him and Nate for sure.

Agreed. Sexton is a much better 'face of Innova' than Wysocki.
