What exactly do you mean by "something"? Sounds like you found that to be an odd interview, but perhaps I am just reading that wrong.
I personally found every answer to be nothing much. She answered all the questions, it did not seem like she was just giving completely scripted answers, but instead gave thoughtful answers. Not the most compelling interview ever, but not bad by any measure. I have not gone down the rabbit hole with this thread, but I understand she has rubbed some people the wrong way. I just don't see how anything she said here could do that.
I think the "something" reference was probably to the very end of the interview where Paige kind of referred to herself as the best fpo player of all time. That's how I remember it, I should have watched the end of the interview one more time. I realize that there is a fine line between modest and confident. I think right now Paige is trying to maintain a high level of confidence. I think her modesty showed through when she declared that one of her Worlds wins rightfully belonged to Sarah Hokum.
Agree with all.
Her declaration was ballsy. Basically, she staked her claim that she is going to win world's. Looks like she's backing it up so far.

This is absolutely the case. I think there is an argument for the best male player in the world and of all time. But Paige is w/o a doubt the best female player now and ever. She is absolutely right that she is in her prime and has years of her athletic best left. She will no doubt win several more Worlds. And i love her swag saying these new young players have to rise to her level. "To be the man you gotta beat the man...WOOO!"

I love a little swag in athletes. And even more so with females because I love that it rubs a certain portion of the population the wrong way. Few things make me happier when hatefully people get mad that the world is changin' and it's not like the good old days.

Paige lost her putt . . .in R1 she was 100% C1....in R3 she missed 7 putts in C1 and had a 7 strokes worse score than R1
But a bad round for FPO. only ONE player did the round under par. . .and i have never seen so many airballs from super close to the basket.

Gonna be an interesting documentary...
If she even finnish it, this is going to take a LOONG time for Paige to come back from.... the last thing she would want is to re-live this..
She had it several times and blew if over and over again. . kind of sad to see
