2022 Las Vegas Challenge Feb 24-27

Are we gonna have a Brodie 2022 thread?

I say he finishes outside top 30 by end of tourney

They are playing the final round on the course he struggled with the most, but I'll double down on a top 30 finish. The fact that he made the "cut" has to be a positive for him.

Get rid of that triple on #1 and double on 18 (round 2) and he would in the top 5. Of course you can say that about just anyone's score.

Anyone else think it's slightly ironic that all three of the guys who do Jomez's Mic'd Up Practice round are all -15?

interesting how the announcer "knows" what every player is thinking and feeling

Wow, Cat missed some shorties, but canned some amazing C2 putts. Looks like another year of schizophrenic putting from the 2x, but I'm here for it!! I was honestly surprised Paige went for that shot despite knowing her MO.

Anyone have insight into why Tanner's first round score was changed from a 48 to a 50 between yesterday and today? Was there a penalty assessed?

Dropped him from 2nd to a tie for 4th. Seems like Ricky would be on the lead card in his place with a lower PDGA#.

Several players have been assessed 2 misplay penalty strokes for incorrectly playing hole #6 on the Infinite course at the LVC during round #1. This includes Tristan Tanner who will remain on the lead card for the final round but start round four at a score of -25.

I think Cat should give that spectator that supposedly stopped her disc from going OB on the tee shot on hole 15 something nice, since that penalty stroke could have been costly...

The announcers said that a spectator may have stopped it.

The replay was inconclusive, and it honestly looked to me from where the disc ended up that the curb stopped the disc since the disc was butted directly up against the curb, on the inbounds side. The spectators were just watching the disc as it slid past them.

In a way, there's less pressure from C2 than C1 putt, especially when you're well outside of C1.

As putts get to 45' or so is kind of "bonus" putting: happy to make, but you know your not gonna make them all. But other than situations like obscured shots, crazy wind, or butt-pucker situations, pros expect to make everything inside C1.

Just ask _______. I don't even want to mention that douchebag's name.
