That is amazingly comprehensive. How about wormburning for a turfed drive that just (unintentionally) skips down the fairway?

These are great...I guess my DG vocabulary has been incredibly boring (until now)
When I saw the pic of the guy who got merked, I almost choked on my tea...lol
I've been merked once and I've seen a black ace once....both were done by a friend of mine I introduced to DG and both were within his first couple months of playing...now I have to inform him of the proper descriptive terms for his "skill"
These aren't really 'terms' but phrases that my friends and I used to always say such as, "That would've been in if it wasn't for that tree." It was especially appropriate when the tree was 10 feet from the tee box.
Does anyone know of a term for hitting the chains from a tee-pad but NOT getting the ace? This happened to me yesterday and I've been trying to think of a term to describe the emotional roller coaster that it took me on. I literally jumped and yelled with joy when I heard it hit, then cursed the world and everything in it when I saw it fall to the ground, then smiled and smirked the entire walk to the basket for my birdie putt.
An eagle is when you score 2 under par on a par 4 or greater, i.e. 2 on a par 4 or 3 on a par 5.I think it's called an "Eagle"
......your tee shot it is referred to as "kissing the panties"
