Lost Disc Mega Thread: Post your lost disc questions and stories here.

Lost my ESP Buzzz yesterday. Made the most retarded throw possible straight into a big swampy pond on private property. Had it for almost 2 years. :wall:

Found another one online that's the same color disc and stamp. I sure hope it's flat. Fingers crossed...

if it's not i have a good condition yellow one i could trade you

Aug 4th, lost and ESP XL on hole #1 @ Woods Park in Wellington KS. Straightest drive I have thrown with that driver and of course it didn't fade back for me and went a little long into the river. After the Ace Race 8/6/11 I played doubles at the same course. First throw on #10, throw a DX Wraith into the river. Again went a tad too long. I really thought it would be at the edge of the bank, but it must have sailed out and landed in the middle of the river.
Long story short lost 2 discs in 3 days time on the same course!!! I guess I need to invest in a scuba suit???

I lost an old white dx Cobra that my friend gave me out in a course in Burlington, NC. It sucked too I loved that disc.

Found another one today...

Discraft 50 Z-Talon

It belongs to a local pro. Called the number & left a message.

Brand new orange Champion Panther just arrived in the mail yesterday.:(

Off the tee box on #7 at Airport Lakes Park Disc Golf Course released it a bit to far right, ran through some spanish moss into the trees on the bank of the lake. Could not find it along the scrub in the right rough, not venturing into the long grass along the lake as I have seen gators there in before. Name and number on it if anyone runs into it.

Pond Toss

For any of you fellas around the Kansas City/Blue Springs area, I tossed my favorite disc in the pond at the Blue Springs course (hole 10ish?). It is the first hole the lake becomes a factor, the one with the tall beehive tower thingy.

Disc was a red star Boss 171g. Didn't have my name on it so I'm not expecting any miracles. By the way, does anyone know if they dredge that pond on a regular basis? Looked online but was unable to find anything.

I lost a champ RoadRunner on #13 at Sharp Springs in Smyrna, TN. No name/number on the disc, but it was an I-dye disc, dark color with yellow "rays" coming from the center toward the outside. Most (if not all) of the factory foil stamp is wore off. Threw an anhyzer (RHBH) that went nose-up and bailed left into the trees (past the gap).

Lost and Found

Yesterday I was playing Rockburn Branch, MD and on hole 11 my approach took off on a anny and headed deep into the brush. If any of you know Rockburn, this time of year the brush is thick. I spent 15 minutes looking for it with no luck, but I did find someone else's disc. It had a name and number so I called right there and then and let him know I found it. He could not believe it. He truly thought it was lost forever. We are meeting today to return it.

The funny thing is, as soon as I hung up the phone, I took one more look in the brush and there was my disc, not three feet from where I found his.

Disc Gods love when you do the right thing and return disc'c to their owners!!!

I lost the badass custom dye evo Wizard in my avatar at The Roc Hole #2, threw two discs (which is how I always lose a disc) and just left it in the damn fairway.

The guy who found it left by the time we got to hole #10, kind of a punk move if you ask me. I want this disc back. If anybody in Tyler sees it you tell him I'll buy it back or trade him something nice.

Good for him and good for you!

If you ever happen to find yourself way left on #15 you might run into a beautiful Pink ESP Buzz of mine that the thick stuff swallowed.

Lost a brand new blue Champ Orc at Chattooga Belle Farm, approach on #5 -- thought it was near the fairway(which doesn't mean it wasn't...) but the grass is very tall. Had 6 of us looking for ~5 mins, no luck, meh.

Lost this one just a couple weeks ago, at Elk Mountain -- tee is a downhill putt, somewhere in the 260' range. It's a Glow, so maybe it would be easy to find at night, but that's a long, dark hike even if a glow round is going on!
The pic is in the early spring, but it's summer-thick with mountain green right now.

I've probably posted this before, but this disc was lost in the mail, one of my hand-cut dyes from a few years ago -- guy recieved an empty package :wall:
Never again have I shipped without insurance and confirmation.
Spent a LOT of time on the disc, and took a LOT of great photos throughout the process, sent those too.
If anyone ever sees someone throwing this disc(Champ Boss), please beat him with it and let me know where to find him. :hfive:

I'll look around for your disc when I play Chattooga Belle in a few weeks. I go up there for my mid-september birthday outing.
