I putt with both of these. The Challenger takes forever to beat in though. Which do you guys recommend? The Pro challenger or Soft Magnet?

For putting, whichever one feels better in your hand and ends up in the basket more often. I personally think the challenger is a better disc for driving and is a little less squirrely in wind, but it's just a personal preference thing.

I've never seen a Pro Challenger, when did Innova start making them? I've seen Pro D and Soft Elite X though. ;)

I've got a warped, beat to heck Soft Challenger that putts pretty straight, feel free to make me an offer.

I used to use Magnets, until I started using Challengers, now I use Challengers. DISCRAFT Challengers!

I actually went back to my old, beat to hell Pro D Magnet. Flies straight as an arrow, and loves the chains. The Soft Magnets are good, but they tend to over shoot the basket when there is any kind of wind.

My two favorite putters....I prefer to only use challengers but will keep a magnet around if I don't have a beat challenger. I like to push putt so that has a lil influence.

I have had this Pro D Magnet for about 2 years. It is beat up, put it flies great, and is always on target:

If you take off the big hot stamp on challengers they seem to break in quicker, not to mention it makes them grippier.

Not entirely, the stamp is slicker than the bare plastic (fact). And I really have no idea if removing the stamp helps with the disc's break in or not, but it seems feasible that removing it would allow the plastic in the flight plate to relax a bit more, helping break in. I could have just smoked my breakfast when I came up with that theory.

I have a Pro D Challenger that is almost too broken it. Its starting to get understable. The more you use them, the more they break in. Also , hitting trees helps.

Challenger rules and so does the old stamp ones. Dave Walters got something right.

Mine seem to be a tiny bit domey when new, once beat a little they go pancake flat and fly really nice. Have any of you noticed the same?

I have one for trade if you'd like it. While they're obviously a much tougher plastic blend, i prefer the grip on the new D challengers.

Thanks for the offer but I have 6 or 7 and it's going to be hard for me to lose that many. Dave has like 20 or something, might want to talk to him, he's looking for more I think.

I bought a magnet .. then a challenger ... and 5 more challengers since. I putt with nothing but challengers on the M-14 in the back yard. I would put the challenger head-to-head with Gateway's wizard any day of the week.

I have tried many, many putters, and I have always come back to the Magnet for main putting. I have a ESP Challenger that I use for overstable approach shots, and windy putting.
