    Playing better after time off?

Less discs = less choice anxiety. I still try good form but my head isn't cluttered with trying to be perfect at every point. Not worried about distance as much. I'm mostly carrying mids so I'm not attempting large ambitious lines. Just focusing on getting to a relaxing putt distance. Less...

    Playing better after time off?

Yeah! I started playing just to play again and dropped the rigorous field work I was doing and it's a little different now. I just try to think about not throwing so hard I can't hold onto the disc and just pinch my thumb down around my chest or so and I do lots better. Carry less discs so...

    Playing better after time off?

Been almost a year since I've played religiously. I got a few rounds in but I can count them on one hand. Took time off to deal with personal issues and got back to the game as a form of relaxation and stopped trying to worry about all the technical stuff I was obsessed with and I swear I play...

Pulling your non dominant arm in.

Right in line with what I've been working on. Another great video ! Can't wait to do this drill. So far I've just been doing the Feldberg drill of bringing for back foot in and raising the hip. Totally different feel than my usual over the top and that's actually what led me to collapse my...

Pulling your non dominant arm in.

Well right now I just make sure to consciously hold it against my side stiff as I'm starting my pull.

Pulling your non dominant arm in.

So, anyone else struggle with waxing and waning results and then once you consciously pulled your arm in against your body saw an amazing boost? I was always so focused on everything else I neglected it till now.

    Anybody Else Like Flexing Upshots?

I could have been a little more clear with my initial reply, but I always think if the Innova definition. I agree with you though a flex shot is different than an anhyzer with an overstable disc, which is where I see confusion. It flexes right, then fades back left. Also I wasn't intending to...

    Anybody Else Like Flexing Upshots?

I understand perfectly well what you're saying a flex shot is. I'm talking about the difference between a flex and a fade. There are a few threads dissecting the term. It helps to keep an open mind bud. I'll let you argue who's right about disc golf with God and and I'll relax on the course.

    Anybody Else Like Flexing Upshots?

I knew someone would argue this with me. Nope, I'm not wrong. I know you don't know what I'm talking about because it's an issue with terminology. I'll dig up the info, but even Avery Jenkins refers to it as a distance anhyzer. I had the same reaction you just did when I was first corrected...

At what point should I add a run up?

I'm pretty much at this, but I still think more work is necessary and here's why... O832EGU6Mqc I'm no David Wiggins, but if he can crank Aviars up to 400', then I don't think hitting 300' with putters is over ambitious.

    Anybody Else Like Flexing Upshots?

I know this is a technical/splitting hairs/correct vs. local vernacular response but... a "flex shot" is any shot where the disc flexes. Flexing a disc is during the high speed turn where you turn it over/stand it up. Technically you can flex a disc in any type of throw so long as you...

    Weight transfer and hips.

I kinda forgot about that. It's been hard to get the feel, but I suspect my stance width may have something to do with it.

    Weight transfer and hips.

Just another ahah! moment and want to hear from others. I know you're supposed to have your plant foot down before throwing and your weight transferred to the leading leg (RHBH), but I've been so focused on other things I didn't pay too much attention to how this timed up with rotating my hips...

    Leading with the elbow

What effect did you notice? I usually reach with my arm fully extended. That may be part of my problem and contribute to rounding because it locks in that original position.
