    That ratings nightmare again

Cool. I have decided I will avoid the trees in the future and throw meat hooks into 30 mph plus winds. That should stop me from complaining

    That ratings nightmare again

Tried to go back and see which tournament was the actual source of my nightmare but realized we played 3 different courses and I cannot remember which was which

    That ratings nightmare again

I tried going back in time to see if I could figure out the round I had an issue with last year. However I realized it was next to impossible since we played 3 different courses at cedar hill and my memory is not that good in telling me when I played coyote and when the other divisions did. So I...

    That ratings nightmare again

Thinking about it as I type and I will elaborate in a future post

    That ratings nightmare again

Something consistent is what I believe I am looking for. Now I can stomach my rating being lower based on playing different tees however if I play the same tees but at a different time of the day I believe there shouldn't be much of a difference this time around it wasn't such a big problem but...

    That ratings nightmare again

I believe I will play advanced from now on. I must reiterate the pdga app does a better job with ratings in my eyes.

    That ratings nightmare again

I have a problem that I believe a few might have. I played in a tournament recently which featured two courses. I played intermediate and got a rating for my round. The advanced and open players played the same course later on that day and got higher ratings. Fair enough conditions were a bit...

    NT question

Thanks for the replies. I asked because I was looking to play the discraft Great Lakes open and I see no am tournament, just an NT. my friend is a pro player and is looking a co-pilot on the trip. I guess I will look on discraft's site to see if they have an am tournament for the same weekend.

Amateur World Doubles at Selah Ranch, Texas

The wind better not blow like it did at creek side on hole 17 and hole 18 yesterday. If it does there will be a lot of long faces. Lost 5 discs yesterday to the water with my noodle arm. Good luck to all next weekend.

    [Question] Floating Disks

I think all dkg sports cu plastic discs float. Not that they are popular at all but they do float.

    Noob disc/bag suggestion

What would you suggest as his into a 15mph plus headwind driver?

    Noob disc/bag suggestion

If his go to driver is a Valkyrie then a nuke ss is not for him just yet. In fact from what I have read on here his bag is not bad at all. No high speed discs to mask flaws.

    Selah Ranch

It definitely is a challenging course. I know since my forehand sucks I had quite a few errant anny throws. I have been to a few courses around the country and so far it is a great course in comparison. Maybe one of the pros who has played it like McCabe can vouch for it being a great course or...

The Official 'Ask Paul McBeth' Thread

I must say a number of us who watched the veteran's park open in north Texas were happy to see you play. We hope you and other pros will be enticed to give the open a go in 2013. Good luck in 2013 and I hope you and other top disc golfers successes this year help the sport grow even larger.
