Fun course with a good mixture technical features. I like to play 18 from the long tees and then follow it up with 18 on the shorts.
Concrete pads are not in yet.
I think there's another 18 planned soon that will be the championship version.

If you want a challenge, then you've come to the right spot. Some holes are nearing 1/4 mile in length.
Will humble you quickly. Tee/basket numbering is crap.
Sunbathers around the lake mixed with a large amount of goose crap can be frustrating.

Easily the longest non-tournament course in the region (gets much longer playing the tournament Gold course). Nice mixture of open shots and some tighter areas.
The lake seems to like my discs. The numbering system on tees and baskets is about the dumbest thing ever. First timers need a map...

Fun mixture of technical elements. The wooded areas are very tough. Holes aren't very long...an arm saver this close to Winthrop.
Backs up to the projects. Broken glass everywhere.
I concur that this is one to be played in groups and not solo.
Like the post above says, there are some of the best course in America here in Charlotte. The Winthrop course is where the Worlds are held and it's 15 minutes south of Charlotte. Renaissance is probable the hardest course you will ever play. Each is different and challenging.
