basket is about 40 feet to the right at about a 45 degree angle - brush all around.
RHBH - I throw my Stingray with a little bit of hyzer becuase I have to get it to the end of the fairway before I want it to start turning over.
There are a bunch more interesting holes than this at this course.
The Condor is a huge disc. I have a friend who *only* throws overhand rollers with it, and he's surprisingly accurate with it. The condor seems to be more controllable and it'll roll further because of the bigger diameter. I only tend to use overhand rollers for getting out of trouble.
I have a friend who hyzer flips a beat in Leopard such that it's essentially perpendicular to the ground - and with a tiny amount of pop, flips to the point where it turns into a roller almost every time unless he throws it incredibly high. It's a fun disc to have, and has its uses. There's a...
"Catch"
Here's something I thought up. Doubles game. On every tee - you can throw a disc to your partner - if he catches it, the stroke does not count. Otherwise the throw counts where it lands just like a regular tee-off.
I think the risk/reward for this would be a lot of fun and strategic.

A bit of a mess
So.. Old Warrior Run is the highest rated course in Mississippi. Seems like a great destination for a road trip, amirite? 10 hours of driving and hitting a couple of great courses in the area - we were really looking forward to this one.
The day couldn't have been better. A...
I've actually played this one. I think in the past, I've used my buzz, but since I've gotten better with my fan grip throws with my putters - I'd do this. Though, it doesn't take but one little tree to send me in into the sh*t.
This is my new putter. I've always had issues with a clean release with Aviars, Ions, and thicker profile putters. Had been using an XD for quite awhile.. but I think this hits the sweet spot for being relatively more thin, but with much better glide. It's a great disc... it's so nice to see...
I have 3 discs that do this for me quite reliably. I only throw forehands to get out of a tough lie.
For bendy, short drives - dx Innova Stingray. For medium range - dx leopard. For drives that I just want to throw far and mostly straight but with a finish a little to the right - a Z...
anything floppy. It doesn't matter what method you use to "throw flat"... all it takes is you to hit the basket, or something on the ground to send the disc on its edge.
I know Arche can attest to my luck in this regard. Once I tried to lay up and play it safe with my putter - threw it flush...
Get the shortie an optimizer... I think they're out of print, but is extremely understable. A 7 year old will be able to hyzer flip this disc. It's got a short profile, so you don't need big hands to get a grip on it. It's also made for beginners.
I love these:

They're not so pointy, and they have a bit of give to them so teeing off from a non-concrete surface is unlikely to hurt it. I can walk on my carpet floor without tearing it up. I have no problem teeing off from concrete tees with them either.
I picked up this game just recently:

...at least you can throw backhand, forehand, and overhand. You can shape your shots a bit.. but there's no fade to the discs and there's only 2 9-hole courses (with am/pro tee boxes)...
...just got mine today!
Ok.. so - there's two zippers on the top of the bag where you can put stuff... they are essentially pouches that do not give access to the area where you put your discs... so no matter how full they get - it will not interfere with disc retrieval. I think the neatest...
