I realized yesterday that one big issue with my drives was in how I plant my pivot foot. For Right Handed throwers, that would be your RIGHT foot that gets planted at the end of the Pad just as you rip threw and rotate your LEFT foot around.

I have seen this video. Watched it before posting. But, he is doesn't say definitively whether to use finger tips or pads on the bottom rim. The first 43 seconds he says "pads", after that he says "tips".

Good Point. They are easier for me to throw, feel better and better control, but so far, they are no gaining me much in distance over the heavier star discs.

Just as an FYI - I was told by a local DG store owner not to worry about lowering the SPEED of the disc as much as getting those discs in lower weights. Whether that is good or bad advice I don't know. I listened. I bought a bunch of drivers in Blizzard plastic (under 160g)...they work well for...
