The park is very well maintained. None of the holes are overly long or short(200-420). The course has a good mix of dog legs and straight holes. A good course for not losing discs when the wind is down.
The course lacks anyting very technical (although hole 9 is a bit of a...
Okay, so last weekend I played my first tourney (IOS #2 Crystal Lake, Illinois). I didn't realize there would be so much standing around and waiting between holes. A bunch of people had the tripod stools and it occurred to me that I needed one if I was going to continue playing tourneys. So...
I play a random doubles league every week and there always seems to be one guy without a partner. I was wondering if there is some generally accepted rule as to how many shots he gets per hole. We play with one mulligan per hole and two putts outside of 30 feet (I think). I get confused about...
Perhaps I was just looking for an easy answer when experience is what really counts here. So let me change the question. What factors do you consider on a longer putt(outside of your comfort range) and how do you decide between lofting it toward the basket for a better follow up shot and...

In the past, on a 50-75 ft putt(which is way beyond my range), I have always sort of lofted the throw up with the expectation of missing but having a very close follow up shot. Today I said "F***-it" and just powered through the putt as if I was 5-10 ft away (to keep the shot flat). To my...
I must agree with this post. I use a 174 star cro for all my low straight mid range shots (very little fade or turn). If I need any sort of right or left fade or turn, I use a 180 DX cobra as I can make it do anything but fly straight with a backhand or forehand.

Definitely what I would consider a championship course. It forces you to try new shots and approaches. The people were really friendly. There are actually have score cards and pencils at the course. The par fours and fives are actually par fours and fives.
Rediculously difficult for my skill...
