I have tried to look through this thread, but I think I am a bit confused.
I used to dye discs with Rit dye, however due to the changes Rit made to the formula, and being busy, I have not dyed for a while.
I am looking at getting back into this again, so what is the recommended dye and where...
What may be hold things back a little bit is the stigma that only potheads, stoners, skaters, and hipsters play. I speak from the groups around me. I play with all types and do not place any stereotypes on anyone, but that doesn't mean that others don't. I have played with guys that look...
I think that this sums it up. I played with guys tossing nukes, boss, destroyers, etc, just because the numbers said they were good, they wanted fast and long discs. So I cut my teeth on those and it was bad, almost made me not want to play. Then found a buddy that suggested a few that became...
Well there are a few local courses. Being that we have one at work I don't venture out as much as I used to. The ones that I play as they are either closer to work or home are Northside Park in Sartell, MN and River's Edge Park in Waite Park, MN. The others I play on occasion are Riverside...
I agree 100%. Like I said, there is one that seems like the no-brainer hole that everyone should be able to Ace, you all know what I mean. The short hole, not full power toss, usually use a mid or putter hole, and it just isn't going to go in. It will land right under, just behind, just a...
Try as I may, I have yet to get and Ace. Hell, I have yet to hit basket or chains on a near miss Ace. I have come close, angle has been right, flight path spot on, just either too long or too short, and not by much. Maybe I should be happy with that as hitting chains or basket would probably...
Just to add to some of the Pure Opto love, this disc has been a game changer for me. I used to struggle with driving with a Putter, but this thing is Pure gold. Great feel and great flight, thing holds a great line and grabs the chains great!
man debating on color, just can't bit on one yet. i prefer pinks and yellows, but that orange or blue look nice too, anymore pictures people can post?
Is the pink a bright pink or dull pink?
I had a couple actually.
One was realizing that I do not have to go for broke on every hole. Whether driving or getting out of a bad lie. I remember trying to escape the woods only to get further back or in a worse lie, rather than taking a nice opening out to recover more.
The other was...
Wow...Fusion Truth. Love this disc, and it is sneaky long. Guy I played with asked what I was tossing, the Truth, the hole (see what I did there) Truth, and nothing but the Truth. Great disc!
Just picked this one up a week or so ago. Hardest thing for me to adjust too was the rim feel, but after that wow, this thing just glides and is dead straight...if you throw is straight. First couple tosses took some tweaking, but after I had it dialed in a bit it started to work with me...
