One fact is being left out. When you throw uphill it's possible your disc will come back down the hill. When you throw downhill it's highly unlikely your disc will come back up the hill.

It's kind of frustrating that you just can't buy a lot of the discs in the lineup routinely. If I lose one I have to wait for the next niche run. PMD3s... still waiting
