Fun Park course
- Trashcans and benches near most tee boxes.
- 2 practice baskets near hole 1.
- Kiosk with map, however the map was not needed as the course seemed to flow logically. The only exception was that hole 4 is up the steps to the west of the basket for hole 3.
- Large concrete tee...
I have a pair of Keen Targhee II's. I used to wear Nike shox for DG. I got tired of wet feet and replacing my shoes after a month. I just played in a few very wet rounds and my Keen's kept my feet dry. Also they are showing virtually no wear after being abused by at least 18 holes a day for...

MIN, WI, MI Trip
I am going on vacation to Roseau, MN in late july. I will be traveling from there to Escanaba, MI and back to Iowa, If anyone wants to meet up for tag swap and a couple rounds of golf, pm me.
Like I said in a previous post, I played in a tourny the day after I was introduced to the sport. I did not play well, but I learned alot about the rules, strategy, mechanics, etc. I suggest you play, but make the primary reason for being there to learn. Not to mention alot of fun.
I played in my first night of league in Des Moines, Shot a 65 at grandview, lots of work needed on tee shots. I may try to play scenic in Ft Madison on Sunday.
