New baskets on the Albert Oakland top course were installed today. Hooray! The club also trimmed, cleaned rough spots, and spread mulch at all 3 courses. New mandos will be implemented at the tournament as well. Most noticeably would be the mando to the right on Hole one at Indian Hills...

:clap: Should be a fun tourney. This will be my first PDGA event in open. Hopefully I will learn a lot.

I will be going to the GBO instead of BG AMS especially since AM Worlds will be in Emporia as well. Dynamic Discs does a great job with this tourney.

Are they going to put in a couple more courses in Emporia before Worlds? Last year, there was over 700 Am players competing. However Emporia only has 4 permanent courses and 2 temp courses on ball golf courses. Something doesn't add up. Also the middle school is not a championship caliber course...

You must play smart golf to succeed. More trash cans (this is being picky) I shot 1 under course par and was happy with that (950 rated currently).

That is super cool that Advanced plays Indian Hills twice. BVictor, Is their going to be Mini golf this year?

This is one of my favorite tournaments of the year! Can wait to compete with some great competition on some good courses. I will be there for sure.

The cave is simply amazing! It was such a unique experience playing in that atmosphere with sand teepads. I can't wait until they build a course along the outside of the property as well.

The courses in Marshall, MO are definitely worth playing. I played both courses last weekend and they are very challenging. The new course has about 4-5 longggg signature holes as well.
