I've got two, one is a champ 168, and the other is a champ 171. I was bummed yesterday when I threw the 168 into a lake. I was pin high, but left 50' and went straight into the water (FH throw that did not fade like I expected it to). Was overjoyed when someone called and said they found it.
I got a rubber putter and a #3 hyzer (also marked F-18 Hornet) for X-mas. I have not had a chance to throw them and will probably not for a couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me anything about them?
I did a couple of things.
1) I dropped my pull through level. Pulling it at chest level led to me pulling the nose up as I was pulling through.
2) I improved my follow through.
The result of this is about 40-50' more distance with lower throws. I actually need to pick up my release...
The Roc goes 225-250. The others I am throwing are the Leopard, Eagle, and Sidewinder. These are all in that range, but, they are not immediately hooking left, they all fly the way they should (HSS right to start) but they are all in the 200-235 range.
I tend to think the nose is up upon...
I played a quick 10 holes today and realized that my longest disc is my KC Pro Roc.
Still relatively new, but I am starting to get some techniques down, hysers and anhyser shots, hyser flips, etc. The problem I have is that my longer discs tend to go, they look great, but get 15-20 feet...

Fairly Good Course
Great course for beginners. The course is not long, it is a technical course. Very tight, but not unreasonably so, this is good for beginners as it makes you learn how to use your disc. Short length means you can play with only 2-4 discs.
Very short means you won't be...
I may have asked this before, but how does an Eagle and Teebird compare? A Teebird should be slightly more stable than an Eagle, but some people carry both in their bag, if they are so similar why do this?
I know that plastic is a subjective thing, but in general for a driver, should I go for a higher quality plastic? My thinking is the longer you throw, the less control you have, the more liklihood of putting your shot somewhere you don't want it, etc. Therefore, a champ or higher quality...
How big of a bag do you guys get before you consider getting a set of straps? How much of a hassle is it to put the straps on and take them off prior to each shot?

Shelby Farms
The course makes good use of the terrain it is on. This is a very good course for new players as there are few opportunities to lose a disc. It is forgiving in that fairways are typically open to one side. Approaches and putts present more of a challenge for newer players. It is...

Johnson Road Park
The course was well maintained and compact. You were never more than 4 or 5 minutes from a bathroom with water. The course makes good use of the woods in the park. There was plenty of room to take your time on the course as there were not a ton of people playing. There is a...
Agreed, this is not an exercise in rushing out and upgunning. This is about getting some stuff I can grow into (with other people paying for it :D).
Only time I throw my Eagle right now is if it gets breezy on the course. My old Leopard was way too flippy and would flip in any light breeze.
