Just an update.. I did end up getting some OS dics for the windy days which they did really well considering my first round of throwing them.. I got the Elite Z Flick and the Champion Firebird.
Next up I'm going to look at getting a soft putter... to be cont'd.
I'm lmao at this moment only because when my GF and I finish a round I'll grab the frisbee out of the trunk and play catch for a bit.. lol it's just fun and I like doing both so I work on it.. hell I even throw the frisbee around the backyard while smoking a cig.. I think of it as having to be...
Welcome to the forums man.. I know there are some on here from FL not sure which area but hey if you are ever in the DFW, TX area we can play a round..
Granted I've only been playing a few months but I jump up and down when I throw that perfect drive to be set up for the birdie.. then when I get the birdie it is awesome..
I see that as a run up to getting ready for my ace :D play the lays and go in from there :p
lmao.. I have yet to play anything other than casual rounds but I have thought about it seeing other scores from some tourneys even for a Rec Division. I might check out one of the Mini's on my home course when it gets warmer. But I do play better with others than by myself on the course..
From seeing alot of different baskets online for sale this one doesn't seem to look like others that I have seen marketed as "portable" .. and I did notice on zoom at the base it seems the original pole is crimped to fit the base? I would have to agree with the OP on his suspicions that it is...
I have to say that the Omega SS does feel great in my hand.. My GF bought one and I can't wait to buy one. I didn't think it would be that comfortable and so far I have tested it on 25' putts. I loved it.. but she said I can't use it anymore :( lol.. so I have to buy my own.
I have actually begun thinking along those lines Roc.. Although I have 13 discs 4 or 5 actually make it out of the bag on the course, mostly my putters, mids and my champ leopard. I'm still learning my DX Tee Bird which I have only thrown a handful of times. I usually throw my others just in the...
As far as mine goes I bought the 150g by mistake.. wasn't paying attention to the weight of the disc because I was being hurried and stressed by family to hurry up and choose.. I agree with you though on the weight but with all my discs.. I feel a special connection to and I feel the need to use...
Just sharing my video awakening which really helped my putting is this.. I don't know how to embed so the link is this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oH-RlFIJOKg
this might go along with what the others are saying about finger spring but you can decide for yourself :D
I have only played for a few months so take with a grain of salt.. in my experience the heavier discs keep the line of flight better than the lighter ones. I have a 150g Aviar and only use it when really close to the basket.. my 174g challenger I go to for 20' plus shots.. That's only in my...
@ Scouser17 - thanks for checking it out for me.. I've been wanting to try some of the discs you listed anyway.. and my speed 8 and above don't get much play except for the driving fields.. on the course I usually stick to mids and my leopard. :D
@Moose33 - yes you are correct.. I looked for an...
