A Valkyrie in either DX or Champ would be another good beginner driver that should allow you to get some more distance. Upper 160's - 170 should suit you well.
I throw all regular discs I believe with the exception of an 11x Flat Firebird, and 11x Teebird. I just got back this summer into seriously playing after a 3 year hiatus, but I love my stock Star Wraiths and Destroyers, and TeeRexes
You can use the firebird when you figure out what it's going to do out of your hand. Predictability...I use 2 firebirds (one beat and seasoned 11x and a newer model) both champion plastic. I love them for skip shots and pinpoint giant spike hyzers. I will also throw giant anhyzers with them...
Yup...that pretty much sums it up. No one can tell you what to use. I personally putt with a DGA Titanic and/or a Soft Magnet...not too many people use the Titanic that's for sure, but it works for me...Try them all that you listed and see
Agreed, I'm always trying to add more to my comp bag as well. In my opinion you can never have too many discs if you know how to use them and what they do coming out of your hand. Also can never hurt to have some in the bag to test and what not.
Nice on the new bag!! Straps are $$ in the bank
I second adding a true headwind driver. I use Champ Firebirds and love them...versatile as well allowing for some wicked skip shots. Also the TeeRex is good into a headwind as well
My dead straight driver is my Star Wraith, max weight, it is seasoned and if thrown on a hyzer line will flip up horizontal and soar dead at it, with minimal fade at the end.
