round 3 from last year, feldberg drives into the same swamp on 16. tee sign shows left of the road OB. after he throws, you can hear feldberg saying "oh god, oh god, that's OB" while he's watching his throw drift into the wetlands.

i'm well aware because i played dozens of events against him all around the world. there were literally dozens of players on tour who were throwing well past him in that decade though, but nobody had the complete game that he had. his putting under pressure was phenomenal.
those are wetlands. they are expecting heavy rain overnight and rain throughout the final round. whether it's designated OB or not, i bet most would rather take a stroke than have to play out of there.
expecting some heavy rain tonight and periods of rain tomorrow with temp around 60. holes 2 through 7 and hole 9 are all thick woods. anything can happen.
climo left everyone behind, nearly every time. some of his scores at worlds were double digit lower than second place. 20 year record of cashing in every event. he wasn't even close to the longest driver on tour.
i haven't played oxbow since around 96, but when we had "trouble" finding the park entrance we would just park at the school next door and walk through the opened gate in the fence and it was a short walk to hole 18 i think. i'm sure that school parking is out of the question now.

great addition to the NYC area DG scene
grounds were in near perfect condition when i played. all fairways cut low (helpful not just for golf but ticks as well)
active local player base
course is in a state park, adjacent to the beach and with loads of other activities and amenities

horrible, you'll be happy you skipped it
none that i can think of
i've played hundreds of courses in 10 different countries and this easily ranks as one of the worst.
signboard in parking lot has only one paper, indicating some "shady" local disc golf promoter that we are advised to avoid...
no worries i'm staying in mpm this time because i'm about to hit 46 and don't have anywhere to play but i think this discussion has identified a few spots that need to be addressed considering the growth of the sport and the speed that these events are filling up.
ok, but if international members were allowed to sign up regardless of points then i should have been able to sign up for mpo rather than mpm. 750 is a lot of points for someone in s.e.a. and i had over 500
i'm not complaining, at world's level and with no course to practice on then of course i...
if that were the case this year i would have signed up for mpo, but i had only just over 500 mpo points last year, and i was only allowed to sign up for mpm where i had 0 points
The points system works for me but it does probably need to be bumped higher again. I also prefer the old original format where your points are compared to your region first.
1,000 mpo points is nothing for a player from most major cities nowadays but is highly restrictive to foreign players...
Registration is already open for international (non North American) players. Canadian players have to wait 2 more weeks and u.s. Players 3 more weeks from now
I hear what you're saying but in my opinion the TD needs to catch something like this and update the pdga, not leave potentially an entire year hanging in the balance. If I were an am player I wouldn't feel too happy about playing against someone who has been cashing all year but has to wait for...
Ok I'm just nit picking here but you said in your last post that the am worlds winner gets an invite to pro worlds and while I don't disagree with that in the slightest, that also means that it isn't only pro members who get an invite to pro worlds because he was am to play am worlds, and...
So if I was an am who earned 1500 mpo points in 2014 (but accepted no cash) and signed up as am in 2015 and accepted cash in January, I'm defaulted to mpo but still don't get an invite based on my 2014 mpo points?
