Small town disc golf with lovely river views
Fox River Park is a short, solid neighborhood course. The recent redesign added dual tees that significantly change the required lines. New concrete pads were poured and new signs were installed to finish off the facelift. The layout is pretty...
I am also listed as a “new member” but have been on the site since 2011.
Most of the app features are working again, except the “update course conditions” is not.
Agree 100%. I was legit upset for a few days. Now I’m in the acceptance stage. I definitely won’t be using the site as much. Too similar to a social media site now. Dozens of useful SM sites already exist- why try to copy their format?? The reason I Ioved DGCR was bc it WAS different. Smh

Southland Trio - Hilly course
This is a great course to practice elevated shots and approaches. Medium to large hills come into play on nearly every hole- only 9 and 10 are relatively flat. There are a couple steep up shots, a few blind shots and elevated tees that shoot downwards. The park is...

Short and sweet
The course designer deserves props for getting the most out of the limited space- this is about as compact as it gets for a nine holer. It's small but functional, and surprisingly fun. It has new Dynamic Patriot baskets and uses metal poles to indicate the tees. The standout...

Delightful downhill shots
This biggest strength of this course is it's unique downhill shots- specifically, holes 1, 12, 13 and 15 are great. Accurate signage, concrete tee pads, adequate amount of seating and next tee signs on most holes is helpful. The generous practice area is more useful...

Wonderfully wooded forest course
This is one of the few courses I've played that is in the woods front-to-back, all 18 baskets. Pristine, very technical, with tight lines and a ton of trees make nearly every shot challenging. There are two tees on most holes and they generally make the approach...

Perfect for beginners
I finished up a job in this little town and figured I might as well try out the course. It's located on a single block city park and is by far the shortest 9 hole course I've been to (725 feet!). Despite its size, this place has some charm to it. The signs are sufficient...

Southland Trio - Open course
This is a great course to practice your mid and short game. Most shots are fairly open, although I noticed a bunch of trees have been planted near holes 3, 4 and 8 to add some challenge in the future. I particularly enjoy the hilltop shots on holes 5 and 6. There are...

Far from boring
This course is tucked into the woods off to the side of a busy road. Holes are short-to-medium length, with one tricky par 4 in the middle. Getting a birdie here is not for the faint of heart- miss your line on one of the tight windows and you'll be scrambling for par or bogey...
