played pretty good today
I was visiting the Lexington, Ky area and played Shillito Park 18 hole course, which I have played a couple times before. Par is 60, I threw a respectable(for me) 57.
www.discgolfvalues.com is a good place to buy disc and bags etc....., also i find some deals on ebay. the shark is a good overall disc, one of my favorites. i almost always use it for my second shot on any given hole. good luck. get out there and play and have fun.
thanks so much for all the info and advise. we played patoka lake course friday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. course was just like you described, some narrow fairways and very rough rough. somehow we didnt lose any discs, we used the "spotter" technique that was advised and that worked...

fairly nice little course
baskets in great shape, easily seen with the orange paint. pro and amateur tees. never seen it very busy/ usually no waiting. hard to lose a disc. practice tee at parking lot. bathroom/pic-nic areas at parking lot
couple of big hidden holes in open fairway, old road...
thanks for your help my friends. went to hobbytown friday and found a couple discs. decent prices in there on the champion plastics. we played shillito park friday and again today before i had to head back home. very nice course, really enjoyed it. what other courses in the lexington area...

well laid out, concrete tees, ample parking, very nice park course is located in, benches and/or pic-nic tables located in several spots on course.
little wet and muddy in areas, (especially in and around the back 9 wooded areas), near road on 2 front 9 holes, one hole must...

very fun course
nicely laid out, concrete tees, like the elevation changes and pin placements. would be very difficult to lose a disc here. playground for the kids, bathroom on site. pavilion, pic-nic/sitting areas.
cant really think of any cons, i really liked playing the course.

hello friends. i am looking for bag disc divider inserts for my bag. i know thats a mouthful, haha. i have a fade crunch box that i really like, but the single velcro divider doesnt keep the disc standing up when a couple are removed. i have seen inserts before but cant seem to find them...
