Like this? I do have more discs in my bag than just the Big Z's (Challenger,Zone,Meteor) and there are some Big Z's I do not have as I do not throw the mold (Nuke,Zombee,Roach)but I can easily play with just the following Big Z's and a putter
Buzzz
Buzzz OS (still need to get this one in Big Z...
I gotta say that I saw the XL going OOP coming but did not expect all these other molds/plastics to go too. I have been throwing the XL for a long time but just recently switched it out for the Mantis/Undertaker combo for my fairway slot so I am not too bummed about it. Anyone else find it...
Grip A Series
Has anyone tried to fit an older Grip A series (model from 2013-14 without raised side pockets) in the backpack cart? Want to get the cart but not if I have to stuff and cram my bag in there and then have trouble accessing the side pockets.
DGA Undertow. Never see anyone else throwing these (or much DGA at all around here) but I think it is a great disc. Use my Proline for long turnovers and my SP for straight drives with minimal fade.
One disc I do not currently keep in the bag but is also a rarity is the Discraft Wildcat. If they...
Salsa music at ridiculous volumes. Common thing to hear at my home course on a summer weekend. Im talking like full blown huge sound system. And they set it up in a little pavilion for a party of like 50 people but blast it so loud the whole park has to hear it. Its just rude and inconsiderate...
I stick with pretty much just one company (Discraft/DGA) for a few reasons.
1. Tradition-When I started playing there was only a handful of companies and Innova and Discraft were the big 2. Every one else had mostly Innova, and since I have always liked to do the opposite of what most people...
The vest is a very good idea. If you do not want to spend money on one though just get an old hoodie and cut the sleeves off. Then you have 1 more layer around your torso without the added bulk to your arms.
Even better then! I have never been west of Fairmont for disc golf. Was just thinking in terms of towns that I-90 goes through or is real close to though. If we start including north Iowa and a few other towns that are semi close then we are really talkin about some good golf!
1-90 SE Minnesota
Not so much a town but several towns with good golf on what I call the "I-90" corridor in SE MN between Fairmont and Winona.
*Fairmont= 2 awesome 18 hole courses in same park.
*Albert Lea= 3 18 hole courses inc. the gold level "Oak Island"
*Austin= 1 12 and 1 awesome 27 (soon...
I keep a little Tupperware container in my bag with a pocketknife, pencil sharpener:thmbup: ,band aids, hand sanitizer (for tree sap), lights/mini glowsticks, sharpie marker, extra pencil, and extra string for my retreiver. In my bag I also have an extra towel in a Ziploc, a birdie bag, and a...
I pretty much only have Discraft discs with a few DGA's. And most the molds I throw regularly are available in FLX plastic. So I have a separate winter bag (DGA Elite Shield) with FLX Avenger SS, XL, Pred, Surge, Surge SS, Buzz, Drone and Challenger. The only ones that are not FLX are a ESP...
If you come down I-35 a couple hours there is Oak Island in Albert Lea, Cedar Creek in Fairmont (2 18's), and Todd Park in Austin (27). All great courses. Bear Cave in Stewartville is good too. I guess I would consider them "must plays" for the southeastern region anyways.
