[Innova] WE WANT: G* Sonics & Polecats --DGCR lets make it happen'

I will get behind this. One of my first discs was a polecat. Still have the thing.

HOD (2014 Worlds Edition): McCormick Park Hole #3 St. Helens, OR

Truth, RHBH, with a one step, shot low to control the landing. The goal would be to take 200' or so out of the alley and have a decent shot or stance for the 2nd.

Post pics of your Disc Dog

Josie (black lab) passed a few years ago. She only lived for just shy of 7 years. She was a wonderful dog and would have loved to go disc golf. We had her previous to starting to DG. Chelsey (husky and golden retriever mix) is summed up in this picture. She is relaxed, however quite alert. She...

So, how did you play today?

5 down at The Valley. It was a good day. Smooth and relaxed throughout. Not my best at this course, however a solid day.

    [Recommend] Understable mid range.

Fuse is a good one for this and have used it before. Currently I am bagging a beat up M4 for this slot.

    13 Original Colonies Roadtrip

I would throw in Jordan Creek in Whitehall, PA. While there you are getting close to Nokamixon (another good one).

    Player Profile

I am 45 y/o, in fairly decent shape (5'8" 155lbs) and playing a into my 4th year. I have always been involved in some sort of individual type sport (running, road or mountain biking, racquetball). I am not a team sport sort of guy. Guess I never really caught the bug. I throw with accuracy to...

    I think I have a problem...

I knew I was hooked after the first throw. It has been an awesome experience and outlet. I may have a few hundred discs and a couple of bags..... so what. I can go throw no more that three times and all the stress of daily life and a difficult job melt away. It ultimately makes me better fit for...

[Question] Trilogy discs into a headwind

Some others have chimed in on the PD. I have not throw one so have no experience. Direct to the Escape, I do find a Fuzion holds better. Another part of it is that I specifically seek Fuzion Escapes with a flatter top.

[Question] Trilogy discs into a headwind

If I am going to throw trilogy into a headwind, I will use a fuzion escape or fuzion trespass. Both throw with decent results. These two are standard in my bag, along with a couple of renegades and a lucid suspect. The Renegades to not fair well in a head wind. For shorter distances the suspect...

    [Recommend] Good Disc for Kids

My daughter does well with light weight Ruby, Diamond and Pure.

    Minneapolis / St Paul

I would probably switch it up as follows. My reasoning is driving directions and BRP can be mentally draining Thursday: BRP Friday: Bryant, Lakewood, Kaposia, (either Valley or Oakwood) Saturday: Valley or Oakwood

    Straight Flying Fairway Driver?

If the choice is to use an Axiom Crave, how far you throw or the power generated is not really relative. The HSS and LSS are near identical in this disc. I do think the Proton plastic is a bit more over-stable that Neutron.

Iron Hill. Please Read Before You Play

I played long pad to long pin, short to short, and short pad to long pin. The course was not hard to figure out, nor where the positions of the various baskets and pads (after the first walk through). I enjoyed the challenge of the longs. It also pushed me to do more field work after the...

Iron Hill. Please Read Before You Play

One of the best weeks of work travel for me was when I found out Iron Hill was about 1 mile from a fairly common work stops. I am not a tournament player, nor do I throw 400 in the woods. I looked at the maps, pad and basket positions prior to going. I knew full well what I was getting into...

    Reccomended me some Rain Gear

The REI Anniversary Sale starts on Friday. There is usually some rain gear on sale. I have Marmot gear and agree with the above comments of price point, quality and various manufactures. I purchased the Marmot because it was on comfortable, lightweight and on sale.

    Upper Park Designs Backpack Bags

I pre-ordered a focus today. I am quite excited about it. There have been comments that Osprey is involved. I have not found the piece that explains how. As stated several other times on this forum, I travel about every 3 weeks. All of my travel gear is Osprey. My oldest bag is the one that...
