Review by bazkitcase5 in course ICC Indian DGC

2.00 star(s) This is a fairly short, mostly open course located on a community college campus. The course has nice yellow DISCatcher baskets, but the chains are rusted on some of them. You can see the big sign with the disc golf rules and etiquette from the parking lot which signals where to start. From...

Throwing a really OS driver vs. a mid

I'm definitely on board with the strategy of mid vs OS driver, rather than the actual distance for me, I will always choose the hyzer shot if it is available (at least in any round that matters)... I would throw the straight mid shot if it was a tunnel shot or a gap of some sort, but if the...

Review by bazkitcase5 in course Savannah DGC

3.00 star(s) This is a nice looking course in a scenic city park. There are very nice tee signs and 2 sets of large concrete tees on almost every hole. There are also 2 sets of baskets on every hole, with yellow or orange bands to help you know which layout you are playing. This amount of detail made...

Review by bazkitcase5 in course Tombigbee State Park - Course #1

3.00 star(s) Fun little course Great course for newcomers from the short tees and a solid, fun course for advanced players from the long tees. It is a mostly short course with well defined fairways, great elevation, some OB (no water hazards), lots of trees, and lots of birdies! There is a decent amount of...

Review by bazkitcase5 in course Veteran's Park - Original

2.50 star(s) Nice tee signs and large concrete tee pads on every hole. Several holes have benches, and the local bench builder plays disc golf and is in the process of adding more in the future. The design contains a little bit of everything, from lots of trees, to water, lots of elevation, and plenty of...

Review by bazkitcase5 in course Lakeside DGC

4.00 star(s) Oldie but a Goodie This is a fun course to play for all skill levels. It is mostly a pitch and putt course from the regular tees for pro level players, but there are some long tees and several of the holes have alternate pin placements that make the course a little more challenging. I would...

Review by bazkitcase5 in course Gattman Park

3.50 star(s) Fun little course This is a well designed course that fits in nicely with a very scenic park. The designer(s) did a great job with what they had to work with. The fairways are fair and the shot variety is good. The course was very enjoyable to play. There were good tee signs on every hole...

    Semi-complicated question...

I would try the Kite - 1 speed faster and more glide than typical mids, but not as fast as a low speed driver - still actually feels like a mid in your hand don't see many people throw them, but I love mine and it has become a mainstay in my bag

Review by bazkitcase5 in course J.P. Moseley Park - Old Layout

4.00 star(s) There are nice concrete tee pads and tee signs on every hole, with benches and trash cans on most every hole. Some of these benches have a very nicely built canopy as an added bonus. It is a very fun and challenging course to play. Navigation is fairly intuitive and it flows nicely. There...

Review by bazkitcase5 in course Flyboy Aviation

5.00 star(s) Wow, just wow... I'm not sure you can reasonably expect much more than this out of a disc golf course. The beautiful scenery as well as the course design itself is amazing. Every hole has nice rubber tee pads, surrounded by wood chips, nice tee signs, and benches. The course was nicely...
