Hmm... unless the scorer had a typo, it looks like Ricky had one of his famous doinkers from inside 10ft after getting the "parked in regulation" symbol on a 1041' par5... but has two putts listed

Brodie got 14 and 15 and is in solo 3rd again and has 2 shots over Gibson in 5th

Brodie takes the bogey on 18 to shoot -7 1014. Hangs on to 3rd place at -20 and will be on the live card tomorrow on DGN with Ricky -25, Barela -21 and a guy named Cody Kirkland, who is rated-X(976) at -19

Haha... Ricky clanks it and Brodie drains it. Both par and AB gets the bird after a massive drive.

Brodie's definitely dealing with some nerves. Over cooked his drive on 2 made par. Then after a good drive on three, he sawed off approach which landed an inch OB. Then airballed his par attempt into OB on the other side of the basket... and took a triple

Another good drive on 4, and after watching Ricky shank one OB, Brodie decided he needed some company over there and griplocked one into the same OB lol.

Like wow man. What a finish. After STRUGGLING most of the day, Brodie birdies the last 5 holes to get into a 5way tie for 8th and the final usdgc spot...:clap:

Goat Hill's quadruple whammy of distance, wind, OB, and quite a few greens with rollaway potential, make it a tough course.

Rollaways are less of a factor when you're sticking putts on windy days. And wind is less of a factor when you have the power to disc up in stability for a bit more consistency and better placement, and still get down the fairway.

Trite as it sounds, not surprising the winner ended up being a guy who can bomb with the best of them, and putt with the best of them. Plus, Ricky's just playing really well.
