Disc Golf Cart Pictures and ideas

I made this bag cart from a Milwaukee portable dolly, zuca wheels, an aluminum cane and a plastic dresser leg.

Nice poster, My dad has that same one with but in a cheep frame, black edge trim. He is a huge Zappa Fan and saw them in concert in the early 1980 during the Night John Lennon was shot when living in mid California.

How did you attach your wheels to those original pivoting things they are attached? It seems that you put axle between the bigger wheels?

I'm thinking of similar setup for my Grip bag. That cart looks sweet, I couldn't find anyone shipping those to Finland, so I'm probably going with this. Can't find any wheels online, so I'll order that cheapo trolley and just go from there.

Here's a pic with the wheels off. I just removed the small wheels, drilled out the axle holes to 1/2 inch and used 1/2 inch threaded rod for an axle, with stainless steel nuts and two locknuts for the ends. The wheels will no longer pivot but the platform will still fold up. You will need to attach a leg of some sort to the bottom to compensate for the taller wheels. I put an 8.5 inch leg on mine so it leans back a little and makes it easier to access my discs. The wheels came from Northern Tool http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_13794_13794, these were the original Zuca cart wheels before they went with a different style. My cart is identical to the one you are looking at, the handles are a little different but they were probably made at the same Chinese factory. Here's mine with a Lat 64 bag on it.

This looks like something that I can copy.

I was thinking about the spacing between the wheels, am I able to fit my Grip AX15 there without any spacers. Initially I thought that I'd put a small box on the platform to raise my Grip a bit higher so that the bag fits between the wheels. But it looks like your 64 fits nicely with some spare room so I could fit my Grip there as well.

Yeah, I'm going to order that trolley now, and report back when I have something working with it.

Thanks for the idea and info!

I would look for the foam wheels as it seems the standard inter-tube ones pop a lot.

here is one: https://www.amazon.com/Small-Tires-...rd_wg=BxvXh&psc=1&refRID=1189Q4GJ4G2DTJHWKP6A, I would look for it on EU Amazon and see if it is there.

Lots of the Reviews for that particular wheel above were from Cart owners of the Zuca and Dynamic Discs Zuca Cart that got them before the company had a solid form wheel option.

Trying to figure out which I like better. The bag holds more with having the pockets, but looks a little odd being so tall. The box holds all the discs I need, but no extra storage for anything; looks a little cheap, but I'll paint it if I decide that's the route I'm going.

Some of you may already know, but I can not walk long at all. About 2 holes and I'm stumbling and in pain, but the trike being pedal power and low gears, I can get anywhere I need around here in the flatland.

Nice trike. I rode a TerraTrike for seven years.

I like the box. You could always attach a couple cheap fanny packs to it for extra storage, and you could also add a bottle cage or two.

I had a Terratrike rover for a few years before the upgrade. I do have a fanny pack with 2 bottle holders strapped to the seat

Some mods I made to my BagBoy for the commander backpack. Played one round and I really like it. Balance is off quite a bit but still saves a lot on my back

How is that cart holding up for you? Have you made any more modifications to it or have any planned?

I guess this would be the right thread to post this:

It's not exactly a pull cart, but I did see a few other Clicgears throughout the thread.
Someone was throwing this away so I snagged it. :hfive:

The latch which keeps the handle in place was broken so I had to rig up a bracket for it. It is held on by two hose clamps so i'ts removable and the whole thing will still collapse. Also, I made a base for it using some plywood and some 2x4. That whole thing is removable too. The daytime pic shows it holding an ice chest, but its just the right size for my bag, as evinced by the night pic.

Finally I rigged a couple different platforms for the upper section of the cart: One for regular use and the other for night golf. The regular use one I will probably replace with an aluminum framed platform similar to the night golf version, just scaled up.
(I've a few other pics I can post if anyone is interested)

Here is my version of da Crippler's design. I really love the flexibility of the Milwaukee cart.

I'd like to add a drink holder and a clip board to keep a score card on.
