Anybody have a clue what kind of dye / technique he uses?

Dr. Dye has been dyeing discs for at least 5 - 6 years. He is one of the first people I ever saw use a plotter to do dyes. He use to post on the PDGA boards years ago and just kind of dropped off the planet. I emailed him about his dye mixture awhile back and I'm under the impression he's using a RIT/ACETONE mixture. That being said he's a pretty nice guy and gave me some helpful pointers.

I emailed him about his dye mixture awhile back and I'm under the impression he's using a RIT/ACETONE mixture.

If he's sending that dye out in plastic bottles in his kits there's no acetone in it. You should see the plastic handle of the paintbrush I use for mixing my acetone/dye mixtures.
