Dr. Dye

Dr. Dye has been dyeing discs for at least 5 - 6 years. He is one of the first people I ever saw use a plotter to do dyes. He use to post on the PDGA boards years ago and just kind of dropped off the planet. I emailed him about his dye mixture awhile back and I'm under the impression he's using a RIT/ACETONE mixture. That being said he's a pretty nice guy and gave me some helpful pointers.

If he's sending that dye out in plastic bottles in his kits there's no acetone in it. You should see the plastic handle of the paintbrush I use for mixing my acetone/dye mixtures.
