Green Mountain Championships

I must say that yesterday's coverage was FAR and AWAY the best live coverage we've seen this year. You guys are getting better with each tournament. Much less video of guys walking up the fairway and lots more score updates. Robert is really really good too. Have Jamie speak up... his "golf whisper" is tough to hear.

I can't wait to watch today.

There is a Pro playing Am Masters with too high of a rating, per the Tour Standards

Looks like it: http://www.pdga.com/player/14528

His rating was 943 back in July. Should be less < 935 for him to be able to play am. Some td's interpret the guideline if the player's rating is low enough at the time they sign up, but if you research it, it says there is a 2 week grace period after the higher rating is applied that he can still play am. But in this case, looks pretty clear to me he should not be allowed to play am. But is the event sanctioned or not? :p

Advanced, age protected divisions have no upper rating cap.

You can play Advanced am if your pro as long as your rating is under 970. Not sure where you get the 935 thing at all.. that's the cap on Intermediate.

MASTERS. The player in question is a pro playing AM MASTERS. The ratings requirement for a pro playing am in that division is 935 or below.

Ahhhh. I did not understand he was a pro. I guess I am not sure how the PDGA website works. Is there any indication, on the website, that he took cash, or declined cash in lieu of merch? If I play pro, take merch, am I considered pro?
