winter time we have a lot of geese in the area, after several rounds when the goose poop stains get evident.

I usually only wash after a particular muddy round. It may just be psychological, but I think a little dirt helps with grip. Clean discs just seem to slip out more.

every time i've seen video of Steve Rico playing, he rubs dirt on his hands...and he's pretty good

Same here. I don't mind a little dirt on the discs, but when they start collecting mud it becomes an issue. Ever since I moved to Alabama, I have had a hard time keeping this red clay off my discs.

i've played all over the country and I haven't done it yet. I wouldn't think it's that necessary. You'd be better off practicing.
