how stiff is your...

I've got summits and ridges in med and firm. Both are very consistent. I usually drive with the firms and putt with the meds, but I can swap that up without much problem too. The meds really bite into the ground and won't skip or skid, so I'll also use those for a shot that I want to stay planted.

I like the flight plate stiff but the center flexible. My sss wizards seem to do the trick. I dont like the plastic to be slick either.

I currently in my bag I am at opposite ends of the spectrum. I have KC Pro Aviars, but I have been field testing a floppy soft Vibram Summit. I have a regular stiffness Summit on the way.

I can't putt for ****, so it really doesn't matter what I use.

I want Viagra plastic in my putters...stiff, no floppiness. I use base plastics like DX or Pro-D so usually the grip is there. Sometimes the base plastic can get slick, so you have to watch it a bit but generally something like a medium sure-grip Wizard or a KC Pro Aviar is just what I'm looking for.

SS Voodoo's for me - they're stiff enough to not lose shape when getting that pop off my finger (push putting) but are grippy and comfortable in my hand.

I carry a Soft Wizard and a SSS Wizard. When its cold and wet, I like the SSS, when its hot and dry, I like the Soft.

S Wizards are my thing. I bought 5 for $25 3 years ago. Best $25 I've ever spent on this game. Firm putters are the way to go and I'll tell you why. When it matters, you will get tense, tighen up, whatever you want to call it. You'll be nervous about making the putt and will be gripping tighter than normal. Floppy putters change when you squeeze them, firm putters, notsomuch. Just sayin...

^^^ I disagree. lol

Im so mind ****ed on soft putters its not even funny.

Im using SSS wizards now just to annoy myself I guess. The soft challengers are money, stiff rim but will give and grab the chains like a hooker to a dollar.

I use regular x-link vibrams. I do like stiff putters in the hand, but I've got to have a floppy putter in the basket. Too many center-pole kickouts had me switch to a softer putter.

oxymoron haha

most pro/r-pro/elite-x putters are soft and floppy
Most are, but I'm guessing he meant something like KC Pro.
yeah r-pro is SUPER gummy and soft from what i have seen... i had an r-pro aviar and i didn't like it at all... WAY to floppy... i felt like i was holding one of those old nerf U.F.O's
They fly damn well though. And besides, that's just one R-Pro blend, Hydras for example are much stiffer.

Me? I like the stiff S Wizards. The ones that are as stiff as Mediums but have a grippier surface texture are the best. But the ION is good enough to stay as my primary putter even with that handicap. Hopefully we'll see a baseline ION at some point.

I like my soft magnet. It's a bit stiffer than my r-pro aviar, but just feels right.

I don't like super stiff putters.
