...but I would like to get better! I am a left-handed forearm thrower. I get some decent drives, my mid-range is better, and my putts are actually not bad. I want to switch the the typical backhand (?) throw, but I just can't seem to get any power if I want to be accurate. Are there secrets to this throw? Anybody have some good training techniques, exercises, anything to help me? Thanks!

Google "Discraft's Instructional Videos" and select the ones you want to work on... there's some good info in those.

You might also check out any of the oodles of "advice for newbs" threads here...everything you could want to know about how to get better has been asked and answered.

You should learn a backhand throw.
But keep in mind there are many courses that favor backhand right hand.
So I would continue to work on your left hand forehand.
