[Innova] Top ten worst discs made by innova/discraft

Don't be pissy at me, but so far these discs just don't do it for me.

Personal Experience stuff here too: (also in no particular order)

also blizzard anything
challenger's

Any Wraiths with climo's name on it...

DISCRAFT AND INNOVA ONLY

OK lets have a little fun............

No limit to how many (out of the ten) discs you can have from either manufacturer

Has to be ten discs (please no one disc comments......those shall be punishable by 5 lashings)

They have to be currently pdga approved

1 -10.......try to rank them making #1 the worst.

I will kick it off.......

1. Groove
2. Kite
3. Nuke OS
4. slipstream
5. Birdie
6. Mamba
7. Impact
8. Wahoo
9. Monarch
10. Ape

Ready go!

(and yes I did a search to find a thread like this, I tried many keywords and couldn't find one)

I've never seen someone use a kite until today. He got an ace with it though.

I don't think I can list 10. There will be some disagreement with my list, but keep in mind that the ones I'm saying are from personal experience and are probably due to inconsistent molds by the manufacturer...

In no particular order (after number 1):

Champ Groove (naturally)
Star Archon
Champ Viking
Champ Beast
Surge
DX Roc (yes, I'm serious)
DX Shark.
(used to be Star Teebird, but I finally dialed it and realized the fault was mine, not the disc's)
Star Wraith 10x (with the discer stamp... OS as hell itself)
Nuke OS (never thrown, but I ran out of bad discs that I've owned).

1) Groove
2) Spectra
3) Breeze
4) Dragon
5) Wahoo
6) Original CFR Archangel
7) Zepplin
8) Slipstream GT
9) Tracker - other than the 2005 players cup
10) ranger - it isn't a bad mold. the plastic is horrible though

1) Groove
2) Wahoo (at least it floats - slightly edging out the groove here)
3) Wolf - why is this even still made? It has the glide of a sumo wrestler
4) Teedevil
5) Dragon - sucky but at least looks cool
6) Anything blizzard in the 120's
7) Barracuda - why they thought making this in champ would be a good idea is beyond me
8) Polecat
9) Monarch
10) Max

p.s. the goblin does not suck - it is awesome!

1) Groove
2) XClones
3) Wahoo
4) Dragon (supposed to be a begginer disc, but I've never seen ANYONE throw that worth a crap)
5) Max
6) X Avenger (any of the other Avenger are money...this one? Not so much)
8) Wolf
9) DX Shark
10) DX Viking (seriously....throw a Viking in DX. That thing is nothing like a Vike in premium plastic)

This thread makes me sad that the groove was the first disc I was able to successfully forehand.

And I think wolfs are amazing rollers.

Also makes me want to be a contrarian and start throwing my Groove in earnest just to be one of the silent majority/minority(?) who can get results from it. I have consistently put it out over 300 feet before (with a light tailwind), so maybe - long for me, regardless of disc.

And jen, it's also an example if "If it works for you, throw it, crowdthink be damned."

Our local club is called "WeDGE" for Westchester Disc Golf Enthusiasts. So I ended up buying a DX wedge and loved it. I really like its flat profile and it works well for me.

Now as for the Wahoo... Piece of Carp if you know what I'm saying.

I don't understand all of the Nuke OS and Ape hate??? Those are two badass discs that do exactly what they are advertised to do. Just enough glide to get you there and the most predictable flight you can have.

Exactly what i was thinking... I dont throw discraft but i do love my apes
