700!?!? Awesome. Rochester is boasting 7 courses during the week of play over Marion's 6, so that would definitely make room for another 100 players at least. Open registration this year started May 4 at midnight, I ended up signing up at 3am because my pdga membership was registering fast enough lol.Rochester has claimed they want to host up to 700. So it's probably not a problem. Disc golfers that get invited are notoriously late at entering before the 60-day deadline so no divisions have been filled before those not invited have a chance to enter.
According to the PDGA website the date for the 2011 Am Worlds is TBD. I'm gonna imagine it will start on the final Monday of June like it did this year and finish in the first few days of July if it has to.is there a date yet?

Bad assumption. PDGA lists this as Tue-Sat, Jul 26-30, 2011. See the link in post #4 of this discussion.

Really....This year there were only 92 (or something close to that) invitees. I know it didn't hit 100.
I'd say 92 invites for Am Worlds is off by more than 2700:
