With a couple of rounds and a couple of hours in the field, I have better opinions on the mystery box discs. I can throw mids around 275-320' and drivers 360'-400' (old, born in 1974…) these are practical on course -to- everything goes right ranges.
The Tailor: really controllable, very straight to hint of turn and gentle pushing fade. I kinda wish it wasn't this good. I felt guilty throwing it better than the MD3… I think the tailor might be a hint deeper and I get a better grip? Not sure why. Approve
The Glow Magician: My first thought was that if someone loved fairways, hated throwing mids, AND wanted the flight of a midrange, that's the Magician. It feels like a fairway but flies slow like a mildly stable mid. It's fine, if you can tolerate the dome. Forgettable
The glow Majesty: Mine is board flat to slight puddle-topped, and plenty overstable when thrown flat. I will say that when I throw it I always feel like it is a bad throw. Then when I go get it, it's longer than I expected. Pushing hyzers are actually decent. Thrown on anhyzer it's workable. Forgettable
S-Line MD1: Remarkably similar to the Mind Bender. Flip up from slight hyzer and go straight. The only way to work it is the angle of release and height. It turns 'as much' as the Mind Bender, but doesn't fade at all. Love it
Lux Vapor Enigma: It's an Enigma. It flies stability between the 166g and a 174g NEO I have. Of the drivers in the box (plus Paradogms), it was most often longest, but not always. Approve
Horizon DD1: Neither DD1 (blue, purple) would really turn for me *sigh* unless there was a slight headwind. I can't throw fast enough I guess. But it does push straight until the last second when fade kicks in. Anhyzers would pan to flat, but not come back unless I err nose-up. My beat up Cloudbreaker turns quite a bit by comparison… which means these will beat up real nice. Approve
Bonus NEO Paradigm: This is a copy-paste from the DD1, but consistently a little longer on the same line. Have to use them a while and see what happens. Great plastic though. I received two blue and a yellow. The yellow is noticeably flatter, but didn't change flight much at all. I think I prefer NEO it to the Horizon. Approve
The Enigma, DD1 and Paradigm fly similarly.
