Still 10 bucks for DX. Still NO used discs at all. :x

I just found all these and 3 more not in the pics at PIAS and dropped $120 on 21 discs. The first pic is the motherload, but even the DX are pretty much all nice, old school plastic.

Motherload indeed! Ever since our local PIAS hired a disc golfer, all the really tasty stuff gets stuck up on the "rare/oop/too expensive" rack behind the counter Luckily I still manage to find seasoned, heavy DX Rocs almost every time I stop by the store

I have picked up two brand new, unthrown 170 Star Firebirds in the used bins this last week on two different occassions. Also, saw an unthrown TL, star eagle, and others. I talked to the guy at the register and he suspects that someone is stealing them and reselling them to our store. I'm sure it's possible that some plastic junkie is just unloading, but seems kind of suspect to me. Has anyone seen or heard of this happening?

You going to the south FW store? When I lived in the area that store had crap. Granted, it was cheaper than the stuff where I'm at now but it was still crap.

Found another nice old school disc yesterday. It is brand new and has a 1994 Japan Open stamp on it. It's an Innova driver of some sort with a rim almost exactly like a Whippet from that era, but the disc is mid-range size (exact same size as a Cobra). Hmmmmmm. Here's a pic though:

Back when I worked at Best Buy we had problems with people stealing our games and immediately taking them down the street to sell them so it wouldn't surprise me... it's not a new concept that's for sure.

Found my old Wizard at the local PIAS last night. It had been at the bottom of the pond at Loriella for about a year, unless they found it and used it for a while. I guess someone finally found it and sold it to PIAS. Bought it back for $4.99. No gripes about having to buy it back, I was NOT going in that pond.

From what I understand of the CE-QJLS if the stamp says "appoved" (no R) then it is CE.

Nice find, Jerry. Does that PIAS in Corvallis have a pretty good selection? I heard most of the PIAS stores in Oregon really revamped their selection.
