My version of the Grip Eq bag

the mod on mine is a pvc pipe in the front of the bottom of the bag, covered in fabric and glued down...If you want it, PM me, this goes for everyone! I am only selling because I was able to secure another one...

Only about 4 rounds with this bad boy...no patches on the thing...yet.

Might want to wait until these are truly out of circulation. Going to be tough getting someone to pay $90 for a $50 bag they can still get if they want to try.

Alright, try this one on for size:

Can find them for $60. Allegedly deep enough for side-to-side frame building. There's a laptop sleeve in the back of the bag that I should be able to get a pocket up towards the top sewn on and effecticaly create a Grip/Prodiscus putter quiver. Or, I could make a small frame for the sneaker compartment underneath and have a couple putters down there, leaving the back a decent place to stuff a jacket.

Side pockets are filled with organizational pockets, Voodoo-ish mesh pockets on both sides as well. Good looking straps.

Could be worth a project. Also lots of color options if you want to pay a little extra for the one you want.

This was from Cabelas: Just an FYI.

Thank you for your recent correspondence. I'd be happy to assist with your inquiry.

I apologize, but that item is currently showing as discontinued so we will not be getting the pack back in stock.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Thank you for visiting cabelas.com and come back soon!

dang dude, you really are a bag whore lol.

It mellows out in the spring when I actually start playing again. During the winter it's just fondling my discs, trying new bags, and posting on forums. I sometimes hate living in a place that averages 120 of snow a year.

Yeah I wouldn't know any of that, but Texas weather is so unpredictable. It could be 75 degrees one day and the next we are dealing with an ice storm then the following it rains about 4 inches...

Btw, for those still checking out this thread, have you had any discs falling out of the "putter pocket?" it doesn't appear to be that tight up there...

If you're talking about the zippered pocket near the top of the bag, I've had no issues. I keep a 172g Viking AND a 175g Aviar Putter up in mine.

The only time they've ever fallen out is when I turn the bag upside down completely.

In the business we call that "operator error". :D

haha good to know it was just operator error ;)

I have sewn on a drink holder stolen from a innova deluxe bag where I took the cell phone pocket off and a piece of elastic velcro to hold the putters in the trunk of the car lying down. I also cut a piece of plexiglass to act as a base between the compartments. This bag is getting better and better.
I like my old innova comp bag, but I won't be going back after I solved the drink holder situation.
Now to add patches and I'm done.

Nice job on the bottle holder. I've taken stuff from old bags, but nothing like that. Mostly just mini pockets/pencil pockets, and padding.

And I'm becoming a fast enthusiast for plexiglass in my DIY projects. It's strong, clean, cheap. That and corrugated plastic are big parts of my frame building. Saves so much space.

And for anyone interested, the Under Armour bag is scheduled to be here Friday, so I'll be building something new over the weekend. Pics to follow.

What were the dimensions of that plexiglass? Definitely adding that to the list of mods to be completed.
