[Innova] For the love of the Bird! ..Teebird that is!

I was looking at the Jen birds but they sold out quick. Ended up getting a Barela TB3 today to back up my MF. I heard they were nicely stable.

If you mean stable in the sense that it's beefy, then no, the 2021 Barela TB3s are on the straighter side of the spectrum for Teebirds. They're long and straight then fade.

IF you mean stable as in straight, then yes, they are quite straight. They aren't flippy, but there are definitely beefier teebirds out there.

Bingo! Quoted for truth. They're just true stable.

As long as it doesn't turn a lot I'll be happy enough with it.

Will have to keep looking for a beefy boi though.

My buddy has been hyping the TB3s lately. The Barela's and the stock Ricky's.

He says very controllable and high speed stable. I think he bought like 8 of them in the past 2 weeks.

My somewhat limited experience is TB3s are slightly worn TBs.

I personally don't consider them different molds.

My favorite Teebird is a team stamped glow TB3 I got from Streets (thanks homie!) but I do love my plain DX and super overstable Xout Champs - and everything inbetween.

Turned my brother on to them recently and he's noticed the same feelings I have. YMMV

I did the same lol. I have a stack of 8 Barelas. Good Teebird runs are few and far between, so I made sure I was set for life.

This thread needs more pics.
Been overall pleased with recent run TB's. Pic of ones acquired in the last few years. Combination of ones bagged currently and backups.

top row: orange and blue Star TFR embossed from 2019, nice solid feeling star, medium dome, slightly swirly plastic, true to numbers stability; Champion Jolly Launcher greens from 2014ish, clear glassy and grippy, medium dome, right is super beat and very glidey for premium plastic
second row: stock embossed red AJ's from 2019, flatter, bit gummier, still good middle stability. workhorse; yellow Luster CFR's from 2019, wiped stamps, penned, MONEY, remind me of 11x and some early 12 times, penned, start out beefy but with glide. have found some champion glow's out there like this but these are what the teebird lovers want.
third row: stock DX, embossed from 2019-2020, stiff and medium dome. start out OS and break in beautifully.

Ordered a 150-155g Champ Teebird as part of my F2 Friday package last week. Received a 150g. There is a pretty big indention where you grab the rim in 2 places. So that is disappointing, but once you rotate the disc, it is otherwise comfortable.

Threw it in the field and it was longer than my other Teebirds, but man is this thing understable. It fights back, but it probably turns more than a several year old beat up DX Leopard that I use for 2 specific shots.

There is a lesson to be learned, but I'm not quite sure if it is to stay away from lighter F2 discs or if it is to stay away from lighter Champ Teebirds.

I recently picked up a 150g Star Teebird F2, it has performed well, I'm getting a touch of turn out of it but plenty of finish to it. This is based on a relatively small sample size of throws (12-15). I have a 155g DX Teebird that I throw but I feel like I "baby" it a bit more than the Star.

My 150 star Tbird has been in my bag a few years now. It turns a little at high speed but flattens out and fades back reliably.

It's also a F2nd with a triple stamp. Not too domey and not too flat. Juuuuust right.

Threw it some more today. It might not be as understable as I thought. I kept turning it today, which was really frustrating because every other disc was coming out as planned.

Just dropping in to praise the Barela Color Glow and Halo TB3. Absolutely infatuated with mine and now have way too many but I didn't want to ever worry about not having these runs. They pair wonderfully together along with my Leo3.

You teebird/teebird3 throwers definitely should check out the Barela Color Glows if you haven't. So $$$. So controllable and can be sneaky long.

Stock stamp Champs ftw. All picked up locally in the last month. All with slight dome and good grip with some give without being floppy. Good true to numbers flight.
