2012 Worlds Completely Filled!

I'll call.

I'm too lazy to do an actual study, but have you even played the course yet? Its not Dorton. In the summer when it isnt too hot, you can barely find a parking spot in a lot 5x the size of Elon's. I wouldnt say it has more play, but in my experience Bailey is in the discussion for most played in Charlotte, having played many rounds at all 3 of the high traffic courses (Bailey, Elon Short, and Reedy Creek).

Yeah, I've never been up there, so I really have no idea. I figured Reedy was most busy, but who knows. Sounds like Bailey and maybe Elon give it a run.

Does reedy slow down when school is out? Seems like thats when Elon and Bailey pick up.

NOT an island hole. Ashpalt and anything left is OB.

THANKS Stan!!
Looks like another hole where Lorelei will be playing no risk and hopefully getting a 3 on that course. :D

3's for her will be key at almost everyone of her 5 courses as with a max distance of around 180-200 in the open (which most of her courses AREN'T) just being in the fairways is the key and moreso on the turning par 4's.

Look forward to seeing you again in a month!

Thanks for all you do up in Charlotte to help move Disc Golf forward.

Got in off the waitlist on Thursday night last week and confirmed my entry on Friday ... still waiting for the PDGA to update the registration though ... I'll be the only AM1 coming from CT, but NEFA (New England Flying Disc Association) will have a strong contingent of players on both the Pro and Am side

anyone have any idea when the list will be updated

congrats!

Renny Gold isn't being played at Worlds, right? Speakinawhich, has the Renny Worlds layout been published anywhere?

G 1-3
B 4
B 5
G 6-13
14 - New location by bench
G 15-18

G = Gold B = Black. There is only one set of baskets to reduce confusion

Basically You play Renny Black 4 and 5 and a short #14. The rest is gold. Shaves 3 strokes off the Par but probably 4.5 in play.

I really hate that change, especially not playing 4. I understand the reasoning, it just sucks b/c Renny Gold 4 is such a round changing hole - both good and bad - and sets the tone for the entire round on the course very quickly.

Such a Raleigh hood rat hater.

This might go to the question in the original post (on the other thread). Although the courses won't be closed, I bet it's possible that all the courses might not be back to their non-Worlds configurations. (Extra baskets reinstalled, basket moved on Angry #4, etc. etc.)

I think that is a safe bet.

hole 4. ... I expect an average of 2.8.

5 is from the shorts -... is probably ... 3.0.

Hole 4 will average higher than hole 5. I have no idea how #5 could possibly average as high as 3.0 -- not for MPO.

But this is just fun message-board talk.

Agreed, hole 4 should average higher than 5. It is both harder to get a putt on hole 4 and the putt (with the downhill and OB behind) is much more dangerous.
