The Minnesota Majestic is going on right now and I was a caddy for my buddy today. While looking for one of the card member's discs, I found a white-ish kcpro Aviar under some leaves. Turns out it's Will Schusterick's! The initials "WS" are on the back! I'm going to watch Climo, Feldberg, Schusterick play tomorrow so I'm going to return it...but it's just sweet to find! I'm trying to soak up all the "Awesomeness" from it in the meantime.

Nice!! I would think he'll probably let you keep it. I'm sure he's got a few to spare...

Sweet. He might let yout hang onto it unless this disc is special to him for some reason.

I hope so! He flew into MPLS on Thursday I believe. He didn't have time to check out Kaposia Park before the tourney so he must've played a quick round after his first round at the first course. A couple of the guys I play with got to show Climo and Feldberg two of the courses and..."hang out" afterwards! ;)

So... I'm totally bummed. I was debating on not going to watch the Final 9 of the tournament but remembered that I had Will's disc. So I drive 35-40 min to Hyland Hills. I saw Will and walked up to him and told him that I had found his putter the day before...

"Cool, I was looking for that" and he walks away. Not even a "Thank You." After the round, I walked up to him while he was signing discs and had him sign one (only so I could bring up the conversation). I asked "Hey man, did you use that putter today?" He asked which putter and I told him "the one I found and returned."

"Nope" was his response. He didn't even stay for the awards. Apparently he threw a fit yesterday because they gave him a stroke. He was in water and threw a provisional 50' back, which is too far away from the disc. So maybe he was just pissed off all day but a simple "Thanks" would've been appreciated. I wasn't expecting anything in return...

Apparently being a pro means you don't have to be courteous.

On a side note, Climo is probably my favorite player to watch. He had a huge smile on his face the entire time and was cracking jokes all day! He signed a disc for me and was a really cool guy!

sorry to hear that, i was hoping for a cool ending for ya

Man, that's WEAK....But...you didn't waste your gas because you had a good experience with and got a disc signed by THE CHAMP.

Remember that pros are just like you and me. Sometimes they play good, sometimes bad. Good days, bad days etc. I give discs back all the time and all I get is a thank you.

I think Mike was just more looking for a thank you, not plastic. I was there, and it felt like WS more just felt that Mike owed it to him to give him the disc back, and barely even acknowledged him.
