Most Exhausting Courses....

Flyboy is long and tough, renny was tough as well but not grueling. Hawk Hallow was more physically demanding.
I hear Iron Hill in DE is far more demanding.

Colorado Mtn College course in Leadville. 10K feet altitude, up and down along old logging trails. Thought I had the flu after playing it once.

hawk hollow has almost killed MTL more than once...

Cant wait to get up there this september. MTL is an amazing physical specimen and if he cant handle it........ :p

lol Harkey. It's not that hilly...... At least you get rewarded for walking up hill with hole 7. I don't think it's gonna be any worse than Deer Lakes though? We will see. The more I play it, the easier it seems.

Deer Lakes doesn't have hills like Linbrook. You've been walking that course for at least 2 years now. You've built up an immunity! Haha

Iron Hill is a walk in the park, Sugarbush-base is ski mountain golf without lift assist. Seemed like we were walking uphill 2/3 of the time. There was zero discussion about playing more golf that day.

I haven't played Flyboy, but I didn't think Iron Hill or Renny are tough. They don't have enough big climbs to wear someone out. Long mostly flat walks shouldn't harm anyone. I have to think there are some brutal CO and CA courses I've never seen.

My votes are probably for these:

Stumpy Creek

Bear Tree - Maybe the toughest, but I am usually on day two of a mountain trip complete with many beers.

I think the Renny Gold exaustion is more about the mental aspect of the game. There is some elevation and such but Mentally that course is very draining

I can't believe no one has brought this one up. Its not grueling at all.....if you are a friggin mountain goat!
Diamond X in Billings Montana. 36 holes of this:

The thing about Renny is mainly how hot it gets there this time of year, and it's actually pretty open and not that much shade, except for the holes that have the most up and down hiking. It's not that bad when it's not too hot out.

I have a bad case of Renny-phobia...still haven't played it.
