[Other] Most recent plastic loss

DX Banshee @ Lake Lewisville. Found it in the lake on #3 and lost in on #7.

The lake gods giveth and they taketh away!

Not me but my disc. Loaned out star starfire in pond on hole 15 of the Island course at The Lodge. Waded for a little while and ended up with a star roc, a *D FR, and three others. Didn't find my starfire though.:wall:

Ill take the *D :D

Threw my CE Firebird X into super thick brush along a creek bed....never to be found. That thing was dead straight!

Lost a star boss in a pond last week during a tournament my city put on at its ball golf course. Kind of happy about it though because I shouldn't be throwing 13 speeds haha.

My dubs partner also lost a brand new star roadrunner later on in the same tourney. Then two days later he lost an Avenger SS (his main driver), a DX shark (his main mid), and a medium anode (his main putter) all in one day. It was a rough day haha.

I had to think one this a while. Lost a TM River at the dinky 9 holer in Middletown about three months ago. Bright pink, and I still couldn't find it in the woods.

Old Z Buzzz on hole 5 at Round Barn in Mathattan, IL on Sunday. Threw a big annie over the water. Troll must have picked it up or it rolled like crazy. I'm betting troll.

Lost a perfectly broken-in DX Roc (local club stamp) on a short little upshot throw. Was the strangest thing ever. The disc just vanished. Disappeared!

No I was talking about yesterdays round. I guess I made this thread after midnight and didn't realize it

Its not that nasty out here in St. Cloud, but I'm still probably not gonna play today. And the parks dept in St. Cloud is probably gonna take out the baskets at Riverside today because it snowed a tiny bit

Why are you playing today Fresh? It's so nasty out!

What is weather? Is it something that should spot us from playing disc golf? I think not. Maybe ball golf... certainly not disc golf.

I lost a Ti Buzzz last week. Teed off with it. Australian Shepherd came and snatched it up and took off across the field. No idea where his owner was. If I ever see the dog there again, Im taking him.

Probably a DG'er who trained that dog and does that all day long on that hole.

This was the first year of my disc golf career that i didn't loose a disc.

How, you ask?

- I only throw one disc per drive. (This is good practice anyways, make that first one count)
- I watch each drive until it hits the ground, no matter how bad of a throw it is.
- Experience, I know how a disc reacts after hitting the ground, where it skips, how it can roll, where it will lay, etc.

play smart and you wont loose discs :)

Water hazard is a whole different story.. ofc

It's been a long time since I've lost a disc but boy have I been on a run lately. It started a week ago when I left my favorite milky white Z-Flick somewhere and didn't realize it until the next time I played and went in my bag to get it. Prolly at Harry Myers. I went searching and found a green Blizzard Boss (no name/#) and a pink destroyer with tourney stamp (unreadable signature/PDGA #).

Tuesday, I went to Towne Lake and lost my Special Edition Leopard in the creek on hole 7. Today, I went back to Town Lake and didn't find my Leopard but instead lost my Riptide on the next hole. I got in the creek Tues looking but instead found a pink Avenger SS (no name/number) and a purple Champion Beast (name/# but haven't called yet. I will.)

Damn, my bag is getting lighter every time I go play.

I haven't lost a disc in about a month now, Star Kite, oh well. Yesterday though, I was practicing for a tournament this weekend and a guy asked if I wanted to play with him, he was talking big talk about how he had won the past 4 tournaments and was going to go for his fifth this weekend, basically he was just being an a**hole. We got to hole #17 at windwood which you need to lay up in front of a pond and then it's about a 150' shot over the pond to the basket for an easy three. He thought he could clear the pond which I had never seen done so he sent his BRAND NEW CE Teebird that he was saying he spent $90 on it last week and how it was the greatest disc ever. Let's just say he did no clear it and spent the next 30 minutes in that lake trying to find it to no avail.

I haven't lost many discs in a while, but I did lose a 172 Pro Leopard, pretty new, recently in tall grass.

Lost my beat up stratus on a beautiful turnover shot on a short dogleg right hole that everyone thought was parked. I gave up pretty quick because the sun was done for the day and I've got this sweet x-out first run chalky stratus I've been sitting on.
