2015 Pros and Their Manufacturers

Now what excuse will people use for why MVP isn't a legitimate manufacturer?

Is it team MVP or team Sandstrom :p and you forget to mention mike c, he's on the team too.

To answer the question though, they will probably say that if you have to offer sponsorship with a mixed bag, your may not be ready or have holes in your lineup?

Is Mike C still sponsored by MVP? Haven't seen/heard anything from him in a while.

According to Josh's FB page he is still sponsored by Innova. His end of the year post he put up right around Christmas thanked Innova, and he is still listed as on Team Champion on Innova's website. SO I am thinking Josh to team Trilogy is still debatable.

Well, Prodigy did the best job of giving us something. Still trying to figure out where the pieces fall and if others are still moving. Did Prodigy really get away without loosing anyone? How in the world are they going to sponsor so many players?

I'll say it again, Will Schusterick, please say screw Prodigy and thank you Innova. I know it's probably not going to happen, but it would be awesome.

Wysocki to Innova would also be epic, but that's not happening either.

Or Jerm to Innova. Or anybody but Prodigy.

I have never been and probably never will be sponsored by a disc manufacturer, but, my opinion is that most people view sponsorship as the players getting paid "good" money, or at least a living wage. Unless you are a top ranked player in the world, my guess is most sponsored players have their entry fees covered, and a yearly disc stipend. Even if a manufacturer gives 200 discs to each team member to do with as they please, its peanuts in the grand scheme of the business. I'm sure its very exciting to become sponsored and I in no way intend to downplay that, I'm just curious how lucrative a sponsorship actually is.

They both were already on Innova.

huh

... and Childs to Trilogy stinks of DGCR trolling

I gave up trolling for 2015. I know what I saw.

It was on that crazy Trilogy fan page several days ago, I don't feel like digging it up.

I am sure it is just peanuts to give discs, but peanuts are still peanuts and still hit the bottom line eventually. I feel like Prodigy is sponsoring as many players as all the other companies combined, which is why I ask the question. I am sure it is not anywhere close to that but it sure seems like it. Maybe they are just promoting their players better.

Speaking of sponsoring a bunch of players, does anyone know what Latitude is doing with their soldiers team? Will they be keeping any particular number of them and who if they are? Will they do it again this year for a new batch of players?

I'm good friends with one of Innova's Ambassador members and would hazard a guess that he brings them more business than any of Prodigy's players bring to that company.

I wonder if Sandstrom will rock an MVP logo during body building competitions.

yeah hopefully b/c MVP and AXIOM the dri-fits are pretty damn sick...

yeah it is its actually the one I own but as longer body guy really wish ALL companies which get these damn shirts (not MVP but the distrbutors in general that the DG guys get printed on) were longer in the body. I hate when you throw (let alone do anything active or work related) and a shirt rides up like a dress on a stripper. Sweatshirts are the worst for this but drifits are the runner up.
