I only see storage issues if you carry over 30 discs. If you carry around 20 ish there is alot of extra space in the disc compartment and the pockets are free for anything. I just think u might be used to the standard bags which designate you disc areas. I have no idea how u guys are running out of room.

Torpedovegas- the tool belt/ putter pocket on the pole handle can carry 2 putters , minis, pencils, and a scorcard. The zipper pocket can hold the biggest cell phone and a wallet plus extras. Then u have the whole stretch pocket, skinny side pocket, storage behind discs on bottom row and any extra space next to plastic on the bottom you havent fill with discs. If you wanted a bag that carries over 30 discs and the kitchen sink, it will be much bigger than a ridge roller. Look at the biggest backpack you can buy, the ridge roller holds just as much as that bag and has xtra space to spare. Use some imagination, there are small zippered pouches im sure would clip on the bag frame with d rings if u needed xtra space. Im not judging how much u carry, i just dont know how u guys got by before this cart lol

My complaint is not so much about the lack of storage it is that the the storage areas have not been properly utilized or offer any functional storage related to disc golf. I brought up very basic things such as a putter pocket, mini holder, pencil/sharpie holder, and some sort of valuables pocket that I would say are universal to all disc golf bags. What we got was a functional pocket that will hold putters and a large shallow pocket, without any internal organizer or divider, that will hold your cell phone, wallet, and all the extra pencils/sharpies + mini that have nowhere else to go. The large skinny pockets on the other side of the bag are almost useless for anything other than disc storage and that is the last thing the cart needs. I just counted my discs and I carry 20 in the main compartment and 3 in the tool pouch putter pocket so I could load the bottom with boxes and organizers to carry what ever I need but that would still not be as convenient as just having some basic organization built onto the bag.

I would also like to point out that the tool pouch is functional but is no longer available for purchase from the RR store.

I have problems when there are bulky items in the zippered pocket and I try to get my putters out of the elastic pouch. I've gone to just using the upper rack for discs, and I used bungee cord to section off the bottom portion until I figure out how I want to set this bad boy up. I also added a thin bicycle foam grip to the handle. Played 4 days in a row and am loving it!

That bungie cord looks like it is adding un-needed stress on the cross bar. I like the idea though as I only use the top row for discs. What did you use for the handle?

Ok i feel ya, while it would be nice to have those, im just afraid of a price hike. The more custom the bag gets , the higher the price. I see what you are saying and it would be nice. I bet if they prove the market with these carts, they will be more likely to add better pocket design. For now, im ok with the space i have. Iam going to add a small cooler in the bottom next to the few discs i have down there. After using a grip bag and going to this, im shocked by the amount of available space i have.

You could also not go with bag that Joe offers and get one custom made with your own design and specs. DG Gunns has made at least one custom bag.

Overall I think Joe's design is well done. It covers the important bases and leaves enough versatility to do your own thing too. I'm also thinking that the putter pouch, when it comes out, will address a lot of this.

What about attaching one of those cheap starter bags to the handle in some way. I know I won one as a ctp, and use it to carry 8-10 discs for field work. I tested mine (the DD Cadet bag) and it holds 8 putters easily, and I got 10 in without forcing any in at all. For $15, this, or an equivalent bag, is a cheap add on to the cart that could easily be attached to the handle in some way.

Just saw the beginning of the 208 disc golf review. He mentioned the quick release cart with bag, seat cover, and accessory pouch is now discounted to $299. Is that still true? I checked the RR website and it still shows the same pricing of mid $3xx with everything.

If you are looking at the quick release axle then yes that is over 300 but if you select the fixed axle then the price is lower.

Thanks. I'm guessing he just meant the quick release handle version instead of the quick release wheel. Mentions the price change at 3:35. But also mentions the disc rack comes with the $295 price point.

I'm sure Joe will chime in but at the end of the video he mentioned the price drop was for the fixed axle version. I'm guessing he hasn't had a chance to update his site unless this deal is via the ZUCA site. I think the Delta looks great but in the end I'm glad I went with the Ridge Roller. Quick access trumps looks to me.

Hey guys. What a great video review jason did on both carts. You really can't go wrong with anyone you choose to be honest . That being said he did forget to mention the Zuca cart has sealed bearing vs no sealed. Also the Zuca pole is fully telescoping I think he forgot to mention that as well.

As far as what the Zuca cart will be like. The model from here on out will be quick release wheels with 2 nice looking knobs and one will be pined to keep the spacing and easy installation.. the axle spacers will match the color of the frame, (looks sweet) bag will have the Zuca logo same design as the RR and I'm still waiting to here the word on the towel holder.

I will be doing a small run of colored frame and I'm adding purple because I have a bunch of RR bags yet to get rid of. but my price will be a bit higher then Zuca just because I have to have all the units shipped to me (cal to wi) and I put a little more TLC in my carts. ;) lol. Thanks guys Lmk if you have anymore questions

I tend to agree with Torpedo Vegas, excluding the addition of the disc rack, the bag seems to be pretty general purpose. I'm 56 years old and this is my 1st cart, and I'm loving the fact that I'm not setting my bag on the ground, not having to bend over to retrieve discs or wipe them off, and the occasional spot to set my tired butt down. I have not found a great spot to stash my wallet, keys, or phone, and there seems like there is such a waste of great potential, space wise. I'm toying with the idea of just using the top rack for discs and using the space below for my personal belongings. Just haven't come up with any great organizational ideas. I love the cart and the concept, but it, (the bag) I think, needs a little tweaking.

It's been about 1/2 a year since I got my Ridge Roller from Joe. It came with the "putter pouch" on the back under the handle. Just this past week I decided to add another pouch for the very reason you mentioned, a place for my keys, phone. I found the pouch and the brackets to attach it on Amazon, all for under $20.

I bought this pack on eBay for about $11 shipped. The rack clamps on to the cart pole below the quick release, so it's easy on, easy off. Bag straps to the rack, and now I have another place to stash things when needed.

I just watched that 208 video with the Zucca. Which also looks amazing.

The delta cart, is there a way to get a disc out without flipping the seat/lid?

Also, how tall are both those seats compared to a standard camp time stool?

I believe you have to flip the lid one of the reasons I prefer the RR.

The delta is a little shorter than a camp time and the RR a few inches taller.

So I have a Delta and although it isn't perfect, I have read this thread in full and am 100% glad I made my decision.

Ya their both great for different reasons and I can see why the delta appeals to some more than the RR and to some the RR more than the delta I'm in the latter group but would not be disappointed with the delta either.

Hell I'll prolly have both one day lol!:D

fullnelson could you share the product name of that bike rack. I really like the way it is laid out and how easy it would go on and off. Thanks for sharing.

It's a Zefal rack and bag called the Paris, but I think it has long been discontinued. I just searched eBay for seatpost mounted bags or racks and this came up. There are a few other choices if you go that route. Good luck!
