[Discraft] Fierce: Paige Pierce TF Putter

Assuming most folks have settled on a putter mold, why would someone be in a hurry to purchase these? I mean, we know very little about them, aside from they are PP's new putter. Have they posted flight numbers for them?

The plastic sounds interesting, but not at a huge premium over normal JB.

no one buys discs to throw anymoar

its all about flippin them on fb

Because people will either always buy the newest thing just to say they have it and may actually try it or like me who isn't 100% happy with their current putter and wish they could change one or two things about it. For me, that's this putter.

And you've made this determination after how many putts?

Haven't tested the flight yet but I'm less worried about the flight and more concerned with how it feels. As it has been said many times. 30ft and in and a putter should fly pretty similarly between molds. But I was the roach was a touch more shallow, and fit a little better in my hand. So far, this putter helps with both of those, for me at least. But once I actually start putting with it, and even approaching with it, I will be pretty happy I have a feeling. I have pretty small hands for a guy so I prefer shallow putters for approaches and putts

Yeah it never even came to them yet unless they live in quick driving distance to the factory.

These two are ones I ordered last week when the first 50 were released that were signed by Paige. Those got delivered today. I ordered 5 more that will arrive next week.

I got one of the test flights ordered today. I will be test putting with it beside my Deputy as soon as it arrives. I'm happy with the Deputy but I gotta know. I will post back here how they compare in flight.

Yep I bet the current generation of disc golfers age 12-17 that are not having a shot a going pro on the PT with chance to make a living have given up and are not playing Disc Golf anymore only buying discs to flip on facebook including every single touring pro's disc each year or the discs they helped tweak/design in the case of two touring pros.

Wonder when this discs will start to sell in the big webbstores and here in Europe so we non Americans can get our hand on it?
( Still mad about Discrafts shipping costs )

Me.
I spin putt with 167g MVP Electron Spins.

They're very straight out to almost 50 feet and then barely fade. I found that heavier putters would fade out earlier and just not go as far with the same effort.

Yes, I play in lots of wind on big open courses here in Houston. I don't have a problem with wind.

I've got big hands and I'm currently researching the first putter that I hope I'll always putt with. Should I be avoiding shallow putters since they're more suited to smaller hands, or are there other potential advantages?

This all depends on how shallow you are talking, a Dart or Wedge disc in height might be too shallow for you but a slightly deeper mold like a Colt or Stud might work for putting. The advantages are this, one with big hands can then toss the disc a bit more with power and yet not need to putt as hard as with a deeper type putter.

Hey Titan037 thx for filling us in. The mechanics of the disc, pre-flight are looking/sounding all there so far, but man you got a nice color swirl combo there.

As to why buy a $20 proto? Am asking myself the same. I got a stack of Yeti Pro Aviars that I'm loving and hitting more and longer putts than I ever have before, and they're inexpensive to replace if the time comes. And my '04 Challenger is a nice second. So I don't need another putter.

But yeah the marketing hype ended up irresistibly fun, so I'm going to throw 1 of the 2 of the unsigned I ordered just to see if all the buzz has some real zz's for me. I got two to have my choice of color combo swirl. I don't know what I'll do with the other one. Do I sell it at cost to a club member who wants to throw it? Or keep to see what the market does?

Titan037's again:

So for those of you have got your hands on one already, how does the plastic feel? Is it basically just normal jawbreaker?

Stiffer blend of jawbreaker but not as stiff as even the softer runs of Luna's that recently came out. The plastic itself is still experimental as well so it will be up to Paige to determine if this is the blend that her putters will be made in.
