What does MVP have that's like a Wraith? He was throwing those a ton this year. More than Destroyers it felt like.

Can confirm. The difference between them is subtle, and Traces have a hair more fade than Photons, but otherwise they're pretty close to that.

I'd almost say he's been throwing his Thundy more than anything! But yeah, a lot of Wraith as well. I'm not familiar with MVP drivers, but whatever he throws will sure as hell give them a sales boost!

I have thrown the Trace a few times. All I can say is that it goes very far, even further than my Destroyers.

So, if James puts a Trace in his bag, he might surprise a lot of people with his distance, and jump up one Tier in Simon's tierlist.

Almost 100% sure it was a blue plasma ion. I watched it in person on at least one occasion.

Didn't he have Infinite as a sponsor as well? I bet they pay up more for his sponsorship and since with them he has to have at least one mold that is from the company of Infinite.

He can already throw 500' so I'm not sure if throwing a Trace will add enough distance to surprise people.

...now if a course would install 50' long teepads we might finally get to see his max distance.

James is local to me, I've been playing against him since... 2008? He wasn't even in high school yet when he moved here (Virginia) and it was way before he had dreds.

I spectated at the 2007 WV Open. Didn't see James play and wouldn't have known who he was, anyway. But he was there.

(Did get to see Mike Moser and Brad Schick, among others, though. Of course, Markus Kallstrom showed up and stole the show in 2008. )

Breaker is a less stable Zone (with a bead)

The DGA Quake or Discraft Drone fly the most like a Gator, but a Malta feels more like one (big bead, small diameter), still OS but not like a Gator from what I've seen.

Breaker is the flat top, zipper bottom Rhyno that innova has always been too afraid to make.

I would not put too much thoughts on elmexdela, from what I've seen his contributions on this forum are always to say something negative. Sometimes there is some truth in it but he always exaggerate like some kind of anti fanboy.

I don't get this of people saying there's nothing like this disc or that disc. I've try a lot of brands and molds just for fun and I did the same throws with Buzz/Roc/Compass/Matrix or Teebird/Explorer/Lots and etc.... Within the same mold and same plastic there will be variation so come on...

A pro like Conrad, it will be easy for him to replace a Wraith or Aviar and I'm sure he doesn't need it to be a big bead Aviar clone to be good.

Look at Ricky when he switched to Innova, everyone was like, what will he throw for his Harp replacement.

The same narrative followed McBeth to Discraft too. Everybody was like oh he's gonna have to throw wasps not buzzzes because he prefers beaded mids. Looks like he transitioned just fine. There isn't a shot in conrad's current Innova bag that he couldn't pull off with any manufacturers disc.
