[Innova] Polecat Lovers Rejoice

Yay!
I actually really like Polecats. They are my primary putter right now.
I think its really funny that they have the Big D stamp though.

Big deal, wake me when they come out in RW-Pro.

How dare you knock on the disc Innova profiled as...

"Great for elementary kids to learn with!!"

"Turn upside down...and perfect for a bowl of ice cream!"

"Can hold 4052 gallons of water!"

"Great for an umbrella"

"Perfect disc to kill a duck"

Why exactly is the Polecat a "perfect disc to kill a duck?"

Why exactly is the Polecat a "perfect disc to kill a duck?"

I'm glad you asked....

The duck is mesmerized by the glowing suffix rings and natural odor it gives off. When the wind blows in from the South-East you can normally she ducks flying over looking for the polecat as prey.

Since it draws them in on it's own(it's relatively easy), it then releases a chemical gas that seduces the duck to perform sexual favors for you and friends. After this weird act of indulgence, the ducks lose the ability to quack and have strong urges to smoke cigarettes. After years of an unhealthy addiction of tobacco products, most ducks die of lung cancer within 12-15 years.

Leading it to be the perfect disc to kill a duck.

Serious question: How do the R-Pro Polecats fly compared to the DX ones?

Dave, I was doing the same exact research as I just had a buddy give me an R-Pro as my first PC. Here's the best post I could find about it (source). I think there are more Polecat threads in the General forum than the Equipment.

The RPPC I threw yesterday is a 164g white. It is very floppy and managed to hold a typical PC dome.
It is a little heavy for my tastes because I lke them around 150g. I've said this before but the heavier the PC the more muted the lid-like qualities are.
So it performed well enough. It is significantly different from my other PCs.
There were a few perks that the R-Pro brings to the table; the disc didn't have any unruly roll-aways because it stuck to the ground really well, even on fast greens. The PC also grabbed the chains better than the DX variant. I also recognized a slight decrease in deflections... if I hit a tree then it didn't kick as far off line.
I didn't find any extaordinary damage to the disc after a round in the heavy woods but then again the PC is slow to beat up IMO.
So I like it and it is definitely headed straight into the bag. I believe my technique prefers the DX but the RPPC has a few qualities that will keep it in the bag.
So thumbs up overall. But if I can only carry one version it would be the DX. I think most other people will prefer the R-Pro, especially the demographic that would be attracted to the PC in the first place.

You da man! I was wondering if a R-Pro Polekitty would be a bit more overstable than my DX one so that I could throw it with more reckless abandon.

I've never seen a Polecat in person, but looked at the profile pic at Innova's website. That is a true lid. Do they fly like a Zeppelin?
