Favorite Putter and Why?

In my opinion the Ion is basically a better Voodoo...It possesses all the attributes I liked about the Voodoo (which I putted with for 1.5 years) like the round feel and straight flight, but it also has some distinct advantages. It flies further and glides better than the Voodoo, and Ions are MUCH more consistent disc to disc than the Voodoo. I just love having one putter than can drive, approach, and putt on all lines equally well.

The Ion is like this:

One putter to rule them all!

I saw one of those dyed vibrams recently... I think it was GoodDriveBadPutt who picked one up at a gas station by a course... that thing was sweet!

Pro-D Zone. Hyper-stable, and just feels really good in my hand. I drive with it on anything 220 and under, unless I need a special shot to get there. The grip feels like a midrange, so it doesn't feel like you're driving a putter. Up close it just feels solid, like I can hammer the chains with it. Anything 30' and closer I can throw directly at the basket, and it will fly straight, and I never have to worry about the wind turning it over.

Well I used to putt with my beat beyond believe champ destroyer. Since I lost it though, I have been throwing Aviars. Let me tell you though, if you miss with those, they float forever. the destroyer just went up and down.
Now I have like 15 aviars sitting around my house. It's an ok disc I guess. Especially for driving.

I use wizards for most shots under 250', and I think they are great (they are my favorite putter for putting and driving), but they are not my favorite putter overall. My favorite putter is a Rattler, it is just really really fun to throw, but I only use it on approaches 150' and shorter.

So the Rattler is my favorite simply because I love throwing it and watching it fly, but it is not my most used putter.

175 DX Rhynos. Love the thumtrac. I can push it better than any other putter I've tried. They fly very str8 for me too, whether I lay up, drive short, or jump putt. They plop and just sit there too.

I can't choose just one, so the softer Rhynos and Soft Challenger/Soft Banger-GT are my ying/yang putter combo.

Older Pro-line Rhyno (soft) and floppy black Soft Challenger as primary putters based on preferred line or on-fire-o-meter.

R-Pro Rhyno and 170ish soft Banger-GT approach putts depending on line.

R-Pro Pig for shorter approach flick work and short spike hyzer.

Rhynos and Pig as short trouble shot thumbers/tomahawks also.

I throw my Ridge more than any other disc in my bag. It is pretty much my go to disc for anything under 150'. It flies straight and is impossible to destroy.

I use my VP and Summit as well, but only for approach shots. I always putt with the Ridge.

I like R-Pro Aviar, good grip & feel. But lately i've been using a Sonic, its -4 high speed, and flys very flat and straight with lots of glide. Also good for short annys around trees. The frisbee feel takes a little getting use to. I never drive with putters so cant tell ya if there any good for that.

Trust me drop the VP and Summit if you use the ridge for most everything. You can turn it very easily with better form for annies and if you come to a wind situation give it more hyzer than you normally would. I use to carry all 3 but as I got better I saw I could use the ridge for everything within 270. Summit can be nice to hyzer flip though.

btw... sig.

Also anyone else feel like all the really overstable putter driving is because of OAT?

and for anyone using the Gumbputt or other old floppy discs try the vibram softs. Crazy flexible, I have photos of it here in page 25 of the vibram thread.
