10KLDG - Minnesota Disc Golfers Unite

If you've wanted to play Wirth Par 3 but could only afford half of the $5 to play, now you can:

Be over 55 or under 17, or

Add your email to the league's list [PRINT NEATLY, even if you give a fake address] and get the "league rate". This works best on Thursday evening at 6:00 pm when we kick the golfers off the course.

Either way, it's only $2.50. (Plus tax.)

Of course, you can always buy the monthly pass for unlimited play for $24, which also includes unlimited play at Highbridge Hills, Fiddler's Creek, Lutsen Resort, Fort Snelling, and Maiden Shade.

Total newb here ... live in North Branch, lots of courses within 20-30 minutes I never even knew were there before I was introduced to the game ..

That area has had a nice addition of a few courses in the past years. No better place than DGCR for the info around town. If you ever get down to the twin cities area, throw up a post!

@Steve-- I think that's a really cool idea. I wish I was closer to Fort Snelling/Wirth. Really enjoy playing both courses and never had a issue paying $5+tax. Thanks for everything you do!

Anyone going to or interested in playing mulligan league at BRP this morning? Looking for a card to play on or making one.

Got the itch to throw. Bryant lake or elm anyone?

I got the itch, but unfortunately I am heading into St. Paul late this afternoon so I am hitting up courses along 35E such as Garlough Park then up to Roseville for 18-36 at Acorn. Haven't been to either, so will be a frustrating, but fun day. Just hope this rain holds off a bit! :p

Nice! It looks like rain around 3 so probably stay closer and hit up elm. Enjoy first round at new acorn layout!

Heard it was great, so since I'll be in the area have to give it a go. Will beat playing the same 9 holers every day!

Normally either Alimagent (part of the league there) or Brockway. If I need lessons in putting I go to Moir to relearn how to hit a spot. I've been trying to hit up Kenwood once a week to work on driving in a wooded area.

Taking the new pup out tomorrow morning. Thinking Acorn around 10am, but open to suggestions.

Ooo, I played and then left. Had to catch a bus and next one wouldn't have been until 4 or so. Heading home and then probs to the valley or kp. Maybe do some field work.

Going to try to make it out to Corn on Saturday late afternoon. Have the Gopher game from 11-2:30 then lunch after, so maybe 4-4:30 weather pending.

General question. I just played at Starling Lake in Eden Prairie on Weds during the on and off showers. What are locals thoughts on the course or what do you shoot. I played 1 warm up round since I had never been there and was throwing blind, then once I saw the course shot a -3. Took advantage of the short holes and scrambled on the others. Just wondering how that matches up! I played every "Pro" tee beside on 8 (Didn't know there was one!).
