Get a Pro Orc or Beast like Glong mentioned. Pro plastic makes for great long distance drivers since they typically have awesome glide.
When we played it seemed like your X buzzz went plenty far and dead straight. Maybe add a comet or meteor for understable duties.
Another cool disc I have...
I know this won't be the popular answer but get her a mid 160's ESP meteor. My wife loves hers. I have recently started driving with it and found I could get it as far as some of my drives with way less power. The thing glides forever. The reason I suggest it is because its pretty...
I can get my 162 Star Vulcan to go up to 350ish on a good throw. My go to is my 166 GL vision, I can hyzer flip it out to 330ish on a good throw but usually around the 300 mark.
I agree with the colors kind of sucking though. My go to driver is a dark purple GL vision. It is hard to find during the day sometimes and I put it away when it starts to get a little dark. I would love a bright orange or pink GL vision.
With that said, I could never, ever replace it. I...
I just throw whatever fits my style the best. Don't really care where it is made.
Just out of curiosity, how many people here bashing on foreign made discs drive a car that is made outside of the US?
Oh and I love the vision, flippy and doesn't really lose much stability. Mine is pretty...
I started just like you. FH for drives and BH for everything else. It decided to learn BH and now that is my go to for holes that you can throw either on. Don't drop one of them though. There are multiple holes on my home course where I watch everyone struggle because they can only throw...
I would have to agree with getting a Vision. I have 2 of them (both 166g gold line) and they are my favorite for hyzer flips. I usually get them out around 300 feet or so consistently but yesterday something clicked and was getting them around 325-350ish.
For me they are pretty flippy out...
If it makes you feel any better I can't do them either. It kills my wrist after a very short session. I have torn cartilage in my wrist and it aggravates it pretty quick and then it hurts for a few weeks. I can get away with playing DG a few times a week without any problems but the drill...
I have noticed that new pro stuff seems almost chalky like DX and wars pretty fast. Some of my older Pro plastics have been smoother. Almost like a slightly less durable star plastic.
